so why did we choose to pitch elorton today with the day off? With the day off we could have had our 18 win pitcher pitch 2 more times before the seasons over. now elorton is going to pitch the last game of the season.

Ugh anyone noticing the familiarity of the cavs and tribe's seasons? vice versa though cavs tore it up 1st half the tribe sucked, they choked in the 2nd and the tribe is on fire, yet it appears we are going to fall just short of hte playoffs if we can't win this one..

I dont know how you 20 and 30 yeard olds can put up with all this heartache I just want to go somewhere and start shooting..

all we need is to go into the sox series tied with the sox and yankees.

Here is the deal..

The Yankees and Red Sox play 3 at the end of the year..

Which means 1 of those 2 teams will lose at least 2 more games, maybe 3 depending on a sweep..

We have to win 4 out of the 5 to force at least a 1 game playoff.

Now we have more breathin' room if both the Red Sox and Yankees do indeed lose tonight.

If they both lose tonight ? It's like nobody played tonight.. All 4 would have lossed. Which means we can lose 2 more games and still force a 1 game playoff because either the YANKEES or REDSOX will lose 2 more.

That is what we call "THE GLASS IS HALF FULL" :chuckles:

Nice breakin it down lepip, but this game could have seriously put us over the top. If we go into the Sox series down 2 games we have to sweep to win the central, had we won these last 2 against these cupcake teams we would be tied right now...god....
