yo pip had that broken down a couple of days ago. i just dont want to go against the sox having to sweep to get in. i dont like the pressure.

im hoping that their is a sweep between the sox and yanks.

Now that everybody lossed we need 3 more wins.. We can afford 2 more losses CALI

Which means, 1 more D-RAYS LOSS and 1 WHITE SOX LOSS and we a get in a 1 game playoff..

Just stay Consistent and win the next 2 series.. Take these next 2 against TB and take 2 out of 3 from CWS and were in

Just win 4 out of 5 and were in for sure... (It can be done)

If these miraculous Detroit Tigers can complete a sweep and we can take 2 from Tampa that would work well in our favor..Like cali said a clean sweep for the Red Sox or Yankees would work because it would eliminate 1 of the teams for sure. A 2 out of 3 or something by one of them may keep them in a 1 game playoff. I hope to hell Lee Millwood and CC pitch against the Sox...and If cc struggles then use Jake or someone, this Sox series should be amazing you may see CC and Lee in the same game or Buerhle and Garcia or something, Wedge and Guillen will pull out all the stops..

We will most likely be in a 1 game plaYoff starting Monday...

We blew our chance for a free ride with the last 2 losses..

However, Unlike the CAVS who had to count on the CELTICS down the stretch last season.. The tribe still contols their destiny..

Bottom line, if they win out, they take the divison by one game... If they win 4 out of 5 they take the wild card by a game...

I just don't know if it will happen ?

I think I need to take off school the rest of the week, too much pressure to be worrying about academics ya know? I find it insanely lucky that all the teams in contention lost, amazing considering the Blue Jays suck...Orioles won 17-9! crazy, if only they could take 7 of those runs and disperse those through the previous sox and yanks game they woulda had 3 or 4 w's...if only toronto had roy halladay active...they'd actually be able to take 1 of 3.

I just read a thing on espn that said if 3 teams finish with the same win% at the end of the year it will go accordingly..

say the tribe and sox win 3 of the next 5 and finish with the same %..there would be a playoff 1 game between them for the central, then the loser would play the leader of the wildcard who had the same win%..sounds like we could get in a few diff ways

Wow we lost again, looks like this just isn't gonna happen boys. Not to worry though we weren't even supposed to be here in the first place no one had us over 80 wins or so. Hopefully since we were in contention we can acquire a big right handed bat to go in right field. Maybe a nice new arm. Well Chicago is up Boston is going to lose and the yanks are up 2-1, if the Yankees take 2 of 3 and we take 2 of 3 we can get the wildcard, if the red sox completely sweep the yankees we get the wild card, and unless we sweep the sox they get the central.

hey we finaly beat the rays in the jake, who ever thought that would be a hard thing to do.

red sox are losing as i type 4-3. i wish we had manny.

It's funny, because I'm glad we won and all, but it just makes me more pissed off that we lost those other games..

By 1 run each...

The only way it helps is if the W/SOX want to rest some starters for the playoffs.
