The kid has so much potential, but honestly, I think we’ll see this inconsistency all season. He does not have an NBA body and is still learning to read the court.

At this point, I’d consider benching him for Exum. Let Garland and KPJ run the second unit.
At this point darius is horrible. Horrible. Play him with the second team

I also think he needs to find more consistent NBA shots to build his game around. He basically only has the step back 3 as his one consistent shot right now.

He shooting style with the quick flick like release is great for the step back 3 but I'm not sure it bold well for other shots. Maybe it's too quick of a release for him to properly square up his body in traffic or on the move. Sometime it just feels like he is tossing up the ball more than shooting it.

In all honesty he is starting to scream bust to me but I will give him until a little way through next season before I label him that

He appeared to be limping twice last night, running his left knee or thigh..

Hes a terrible defensive guard made only worse because he's next to an equally terrible defensive guard

I expected an underwhelming rookie season due to roster construction, him coming back from injury and missing nearly a year etc..... However, I didn't quite expect this underwhelming of a season.

The red flags are plentiful.

I just don't think we have the ability to develop players. After seeing multiple high first round picks falter on the Cavs, I do not think we have staff in place that can help these guys get better. They either have it or they don't. If they don't, they flame out.

I think fans of the NBA need to recognize the situation we have with some of these players and be less quick to label folks as busts. They come in WAAAY too young and need time to get better at their craft. The NBA isn't the best place for that at times in terms of fans being patient.

You see glimpses of what he can be. You also see every last bit of his 20 years of age. He does some very nice things every now and again but he's a terrible defensive player. Then again, how many 20 year old PG's are good defenders? Look at a kid like Dennis Smith Jr who showed some talent vs us last evening but folks are calling him a bust at age 22.

He needs some time. He will get better. I think he needs to watch some Steve Nash as I see a bit of him in his game.

Kid needs to shoot more and get to the free throw line.

Issue is we have three 20 year old basically
And probably going to add a 4th in the next draft
