@Man Called X and @daytripper I'm at the dentist and I'm not happy about it, so both of your attempts to dunk on me are being ignored until I'm done paying these people to hurt me.

Just know I see your weak layups, and by the time the season starts, I'll be in shape and sending it back to you Mutumbo style

I'll just be sitting here watching Garland play PG like he's a virgin on prom night.

Watched about half of the 3rd quarter and had to switch to baseball...

Saw something concerning - had a break where there was one Bull under the rim. he should have attacked. Kyrie would have all day long. DG circled his dribble back to the top of the key. Go after the rim young buck (or doe if he doesn't improve on his aggressiveness).

Saw the same play and I called him out of his name as a result in real time

I mean it is not even that to me. He is playing with a disorganized bunch of players trying to figure out their roles for this crazy coaching staff trying to find the best line up smh There is no way Garland or Sexton or even Okoro is as bad this season as they looked in that game

Hope your pearly whites are all sparkly after the dentist.

I sincerely hope you are right about Garland as the Cavs desperately need another stud....I just have my doubts in varying degrees about all 3 of these lottery guards.

We all know the coaching is trash, but I've yet to ever see Garland be aggressive.

He wants to be the leader, he's got to fucking own it. This is year 3, it's time to quit acting like the scared little brother. But kid just doesn't have that in him. He'll make a fine bench PG next contract.

Yesterday, my son got like his fifth tooth pulled yesterday due to shitty dental work from his first dentist. Bad fillings.

Tooth pulling is one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen.

Kid inherited Britishly bad teeth from his mother and grandmother. They fall apart like graham crackers.

No DG does not get much support from me when people start arguing against Sexton, but there is no way in hell Garland as small and weak as he is can be more aggressive without getting injured. It would be nice if he had the body for it but he doesn't . He will be the passive aggressive table setter and hopefully with any improvement at least take more shots.
There is also one hypothetical factor I think could be going on here as well that is pure speculation and not anything with any real information and that is that he really doesn't want to be in Cleveland and is not that into it.

You need to watch more games then. 2nd game against Minny and San Antonio road game last year are quick references that I cant even pull up the box score to find but I am 100% sure he was not only the most aggressive Cav on the floor, but he won those games for us last year and made key plays down the stretch in both games to get it done.

If you were just speaking in extremes to make your point, disregard and continue on.

This is what I needed to read. To hell with this. I'll come back next month

best thing to do is not pull them but instead push them into the nasal cavity as trophies

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time.

In general, the fact that you could pull out 2 specific games where he did it is rather hilarious in and of itself. It's such a rare occurrence that you've got the damn games memorized.

Being a stud requires consistency. He can't consistently bring that type of attitude to every game. He's a lull you to sleep backup PG, not a shooting phenom floor general as he was touted. He just doesn't have that mentality in him. That's fine if he weren't a #5 pick being treated like a franchise cornerstone.

For sure. One great strategy with teeth is to keep pushing out any potential work you need. Problem almost always takes care of itself.

He already has a deviated septum, so it’s basically begging to be a trophy case.

I agree with this, Tip, but offer that whether you call it social disorder or something touching a spectrum, Collins alpha is so self consumed that even to start year 4, he's simply not wired to galvanize others or make the game easier for them outside of the spacing his scoring provides or dumpoffs from his blow by speed.

I don't fault him for it, I think I love him and instead see a tragedy in a dude who simply wants to eat & sleep to get buckets, not being with a competent enough org/coaching to maximize him.

When he was out there for 3 minutes to start the 4th with all 3rd stringers on both sides, he made one pass to Pangos that should have resulted in a layup but other than that there were about 4 possessions where his approach to the game and impact on the game, was the same as if he were playing with 9 other All-stars. Shot and made a pull-up 3, stood in the corner watching high PNR, passed to Pangos when his man helped on Sexton, stood and watched high PNR he was not involved in, subbed out.

He's simply just wired to score. Not lead, not communicate and inspire teammates to follow, not make the game easier for less talent... Score.

And a alpha scorer can be a dangerous bullet to have in your chamber, if you know when to situationally use it... (Off the bench)

Completely agree. That's one reason why he needs to be paired with an alpha leader to push him in the right direction. As of now, he's got the strongest personality on the floor so nobody can reign him in.

This is one reason I really liked Barnes. I thought his personality was something this team really needed as much as his actual game.
