Good chance he makes the all star team this year as a 21 year old.

Your shtick is getting old. We get it, Garland fucked your wife and made you watch, but not all of us irrationally hate Garland.
not a chance at "22" for the all star game.

First, Harrison Barnes was largely a 'best player available' pick, at the time and many thought he would go higher than where he did. Second, you're going back quite a ways with the Klay & Draymond picks, as Klay was taken in the 2011 draft and Draymond in the 2012 draft. Third, Myers' recent draft picks, Wiseman, Kuminga, & Moody, were all drafted as high ceiling guys, who aren't necessarily ready to play now. People think they were drafted to be trade bait, but I truly believe the Warriors plan on keeping & developing these guys and making them part of the next core, once Steph, Klay, & Draymond are ready to retire/move on.

Hey man, I'm sorry I missed this response!

The reason I went back as far as I did is that I think the only reason Bob Myers is considered a great GM is because of assembling that original dynasty, which wasn't done on the back of selecting guys with a combination of low floors and high ceilings.

You do bring up great points though!

Garland has been shooting 46.7% from three over the last 10 games. With 20pts 9 assists 4rebounds and 1.5 steals. 96% from the FT line. 49% from the floor.

Up to 19/7.5/3 1.3 steals. 39% from 3. 89% FT. 46% from the floor on the season.

Garland is going to be an elite point guard for a long time. This is just his first leap. His second leap is really going to be something to behold. Can’t wait.

I think Myers is a great GM, but picks are largely made based on the roster needs, at the time. For instance, Harrison Barnes had a great shot at early playing time with the Warriors whereas no one expects Jonathan Kuminga to make much of an impact this year. Both were #6 overall picks. Kuminga is obviously more raw, but he's also stuck behind a host of veterans, including Draymond Green, Wiggins, Porter, & Bjielica.

If he can somehow surpass Curry, that would be best thing of all time. Just have Warriors fans losing their minds lol.

"He's not the shooter Steph was"
"He has thousands more assists and did it younger"

Pure fantasy at the moment, but this could be similar to the year the Warriors took San Antonio to the brink.
