Okoro is light years behind Allen, Mobley, and Garland.
When garland was 19 he was super ass and when dg was 20 he was ass. Okoro is 20 and us improving not saying he will be a star but he is getting better. Next year is a good measurement for Isaac

Exactly. People actually don’t realize how little basketball Okoro has actually played up until now. He still has a lot of developing to do, but in another season or two he’ll look completely different as a player.

Garland's legit. If you aren't seeing a budding Steve Nash 2.0, I question your ability to understand what you are looking at. Darius, Evan and Allen are a great core, with Okoro not too far behind. A solid 3-D SF is all that's missing.

Imagine witnessing the most enjoyable Cavs regular season performance since 2009 (and maybe since 1992) and being mad about Darius' shot selection in a road win.
We might have Nash 2.0, Garnet/Duncan 2.0, and David Robinson 2.0 as our big 3. Future as bright.

I just mean as a starting G/F, if we get Okoro playing somewhat consistently a'la the stretch right before he went down with Covid and then the elbow, that's a really good player.

Mobley is a freak, nobody should have that much physical talent combined with that much hoops IQ at 20. Just not really fair.

Saying that Okoro is light years behind those other players isn’t giving up on him potentially developing, it’s just stating a fact.

Garland’s development has nothing to do with Okoro’s development. Some players are bad and stay bad. Some become just ok. Time will tell for sure, but I certainly saw much more potential in Garland even in his low times than I have in Okoro. Although, I’ve at least seen enough from Okoro to think he’ll at least be ok.

Who is a better Point Guard than Garland in the east? I can't even think of anyone close.
