I'm assuming it's players acquired this offseason...

I just want better spacing. JB won't try Windler, so Wade is the guy who can pay good enough defense to get on the court. I'm joking about him starting, but I do think he should get some time. Doesn't matter where it is. I think they can play him as a wing. He has shown that. He's played well with Cedi and Love before, maybe Rubio can get him some open looks.

I am thinking more and more we need to play Cedi at the 2.

It wasn't long, but there was time where Cedi was the 2 yesterday. I believe it was a Garland/Cedi/Lauri/Love/Mobley lineup.

As long as his role on offense doesn't change, I have no problem with him being the 2 in the lineup.

If Wade is playable as a spacer and can provide minutes it opens up options to be traded.
Frankly I’d prefer they move no one this year.

I really don't think they trade anyone unless someone really wants Love. The cheap contracts don't do anything for anyone and Cedi and Rubio are crucial to the rotation.

Even Wade, I mean he is making basically 10 year vet min money, and he is good enough to come in and cover any forward position and not hurt you. Very valuable guy to have as injury insurance.

We see what having Lauri and Love back for spacing is like. It's great. I don't think they really blew anyone out until those guys came back. I really like Okoro but getting a spacer in there sometimes and taking Okoro out would help the offense I am sure.

Props to the real D Wade tonight. Inconsistent PT following his injury, instantly inserted into the starting 5, and he played a very efficient game like he hadn’t left the rotation.

Now up to 44.2/34.4/75 shooting splits for the season after a brutal start shooting the ball.

There’s always room on a roster for a guy with defensive position flexibility and the ability to hit 3s.

JBB needs to find a way to get him and/or Stevens 10-12 minutes a night consistently, especially as the schedule softens up.

I am just not for messing with this team at all. Unless we can replace pangos
I don’t see what we can get back for love that would equal his production and dare say attitude at this point

Even Wade being able to fill in for Lauri, Love or Mobley is just so valuable. You have to figure you are as likely to upset the chemistry as to improve the team at this point.

I'd trade Love and Okoro for Jaylen Brown, but that isn't happening.

I would even give them a first. Jaylen Brown is the type of homerun deal you shake things up a bit for.

But like you said, Okoro and a first, even 2 firsts dont get it done as they have to view any firsts from us as a 20+ level.

Yeah, short of falling into a homerun deal like what happened with JA, I wouldn't make any trades except to improve the non rotation guys past Wade and Stevens.

If we were to target anything it would be for a guard to replace Pangos who isn't really playable in any meaningful minutes. It would be nice to cut back minutes for Rubio and Garland if they need some rest without taking a hit, and as injury insurance.

If a really good fit falls into our laps then by all means take it, but otherwise stand pat except for tinkering at the edges.

I hope watching Dean Wade struggle with Jaylen Green puts a swift end to whomever said they wanted him at SG...

I think it was a joke because it was a super tall lineup Atleast I hope it was a joke, lol

Nah. Definitely wasn't a joke. I forget who it was, and don't feel like gravedigging, but I engaged with them directly to make sure I was reading correctly. That person wanted to give Wade some burn at SG because he didn't get regularly burned by Kevin Durant.

Granted that Brown torched everyone we put on him tonight, but did Wade even cover Jaylen much? Markkanen was the primary cover on Brown (it went about as well as would be expected). Wade had Tatum most of the night.
