Demarcus Cousins: Refuses to be Barkley, Ewing and Malone

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Klutch Sports:

“Upon further review; 3 time world champion, 4 time MVP, LeBron James has decided the Lakers are not for him and has decided to retire”

Hey, another of the greats, Duncan, called it quits a year or two early because of KD's original move...

And yes, I know that Timmy was playing below market value late in his career, but that's not close to the same situation.

The NBA and NBAPA are going to have to figure out a way, because this league is forever broken right now.

Other owners have to be beyond pissed over this shit.

If the NBAPA is ANYTHING like the MLBPA and NFLPA? I would imagine they do NOT like the idea of players going for less than their worth.

The player's association launched this BS by not smoothing the cap and paving the way for a juggernaut to be built in GSW.

Their shortsightedness is coming home to roost.

Adam silver is too diplomatic. And the problem he’s facing isn’t so easily solvable.

At least when things got silly under David sterns watch-Chris Paul to lakers trade-he says nah-I’m not feeling it.

The league owned the Hornets (now Pelicans) at the time. They veto the trade because other owner protested it.

I bet if Klay tells anyone he is thinking about not resigning next year, they will snitch to ownership and they will end up trading for Kawhi.

Short of drafting a hometown messiah who is the GOAT, how does a small market team win? How do Memphis Grizzlies fans even turn on the TV?

The NBA is dangerously close to making itself irrelevant. Believe you me.

He will not be able to play until January. Why not get a cheap ring while recovering. He will bolt after next year if healthy and sign a max deal somewhere else...

I said all along that UFAs should only be able to decrease their salary by a certain %.

And yes, I'd be willing to sacrifice Wade this past year, Matrix Marion, etc. for a tradeoff like that, as most MLE-level ringchasers prefer destination markets; only time we win is on on straight vet min contracts, since it's barely enough to support the "NBA lifestyle" at the cost of living in LA, the Bay, etc.

The NBA is a joke. Might as well just let players pick their teammates like they are at the park before games. Really hope fan bases of all teams realize the joke it has become and start to boycott this crap. I will not be watching any of this league, Cavs included.

Other then in a passionless entertainment factor how can the NBA even consider itself a competitive league now? There are fake calls, different rule books based on desired outcomes, and obvious open collusion. It’s the WWE of pro sports. I like watching young players and will enjoy that, but most people find that boring or uninteresting. Ratings have to take a shit next year I imagine.

Hopefully people stop buying merchandise and going to games, it’s apparently the only way to force change because the other owners are clearly ok with what this “league” has turned into.

The irony is the same Lakers fans who made fun of LeBron saying "He needs more help" will be the same ones crying about it when they play the Warriors.

All these years we all thought Lebron couldn't recruit anyone to Cleveland because it was Cleveland. I now think LeBron just can't recruit.

Seriously guys.

Imagine facing an all star starting lineup in the finals+ the refs. I don't know if I could have took it.

I might have developed a serious level of hate for the NBA. The Warriors owner was right. They are on another level. So I'll choose to ignore that level until things change and just focus on the rest.
