I think he knows the game well, he's a good coach at an X's and O's standpoint, but we're seeing first hand why he's so limited.
He's not willing to bend, or at least compromise with this prima donna type sense of entitlement these superstars have.
And look, maybe Karl has a valid point, that they all act like entitled jackasses. It's definitely possible, but this is part of the NBA culture. Maybe this wasn't the case when he was growing up playing in the league.
I often see this old school mentality clash with this new school so often.
But it is what it is, you're not going to change an entire culture, just because you think its wrong.
You either adapt, or you die. And apparently Karl is never going to adapt, so he's never going to go very far in this league because of it.
Maybe but Ray Allen? The dude is a consummate professional from what's reported around the league. Plays hard, practices hard, etc. Karl seems to burn out everybody he played with
