My brother in high school worked at the Rax in the valley in Akron. He is now a lawyer, that is somehow worse that working at Rax.
Sadly, that building is gone; that property is now the Dollar General parking lot.

I actually disagree.

He should want to pay 10, to get his next contract at a younger age.

From a money perspective, paying 10 to get an extra season of 40+ only makes sense.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 12 game suspension = season doesn't count, right? Has to be active/eligible for at least 6 games?

Maybe I misread your post.

If his option is pay fine 11 or less, or full season, he absolutely should not take full season.

If it’s more than 12, he won’t give up a dime.

Edit- def misread haha- my bad!

I have been in that building several times, not sure why you started the sentence with "Sadly", maybe "Thankfully" is more appropriate.

It was a complete derelict by the time they tore it down, an absolute eyesore.
I had the pleasure of viewing it every day!

I don’t buy for a second that other NFL owners, most of whom are absolute scumbags, give a fuck about this. Half of them were lining up to try to give Watson the same contract and the other half would have been too if they didn’t already have a QB.
Agreed. I hate this whole "NFL structured the contract to minimize impact to Watson's money" talking point.
Absolutely the dumbest one out there IMO -- considering that EVERY NFL team that is handing out these guaranteed contracts is always starting out with a low number in year 1. The Browns have like 4 players (including Myles Garrett) who had the lowest amount year one. It's SOP at this point.

Wilson's last name typo aside, NFLPA requesting an in-person hearing with Harvey. Harvey is not required to grant their request.
