*DIAMOND'S* in the rough

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It always seems like Jawad should be much better than he actually is. I only see him as a backup at best if he makes it. I'd probably look elsewhere and at other postions If I were the Cavs and acquired a 2nd round pick.
I's true that reports are he hasn't looked good in any of the pre-draft activities.

he doesn't do anything really well... if he even sniffs the league ? i see him getting pushed around.

he can't shoot, and is not really even a garbage scorer..

Remember the name Roko Ukic, a 6'5'' point from Croatia. A good article on ESPN Insider compared him to Ginobili. I think he should be the point we should groom, and he would go later in the draft. I'd get him and Antonio Daniels, who's from Columbus and went to BGSU. Daniels is good at defending the opposing point, a problem we had last year, and he's big and athletic. Ukic could learn as a backup, and maybe take over when Snow hits retirement.

I agree on Ukic. He's also a true PG and according to Ford has grown to 6-6 218. He'll go mid to late 1st round and if the Cavs do try to get a #1 it should be to target either Ukic or Jack.

Someone has already commented on Luther Head, but what do you all think about Julius Hodge ?

I like Hodge's versatility. He'll probably end up mostly playing sg in the nba, but he has some nice pg skills. He could have a solid career as a combo guard. He should go late first round.

Ukic could be a good option for us. His height along with LeBron and a tall sg FA that we sign could cause a lot of mismatches on the perimeter.
