Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
congrats!

i've stalled just over the 200# mark. kind of frustrating but i also haven't been super disciplined. two trips to the ER for my daughter and just her generally being sick and missing daycare. and wtf i'm actually busy at work now and i can't go to the gym during the day as much anymore :(

also re-started creatine tho and the mirror scale looks good

Since.my blood work is good, took first injection today. Going to cut the last month of fat off while on so I don't lose muscle. This could be a turning point.

Dbol 50 daily
Test p100x3
Test e 150 x2

Two of my new things related to working out are, I got a Fitbit as part of my medicare advantage plan perks. I let it sit for months but finally set it up and synced it and it's been kind of cool, for me at least. I wear it nearly 24/7. Tracks more than I need but i use it for heart rate, steps, active zone minutes, calories, miles, and sleep score. I realized recently how much exercise you get shoveling snow.
Also the second new thing is using the Expresso stationary bike at the gym. It's like a supercharged peloton. All kinds of nice scenic rides, not just the spinning stuff. Also has games where you ride thru areas, avoid obstacles and collect points. It's the first piece of cardio equipment I've ever had any interest in and I've seen it all.
My main goal this winter is to gain strength for better golf performance. Getting old and losing distance. So I've been doing all kinds of gym stuff, machines, stretching, some weights, etc. I'm fit and feeling good other than wear and tear and age related stuff. 65 yrs old.

Yoga with Adriene (YouTube) is a good option. Wide variety of videos, for a wide range of people (e.g., total beginner to a lot of experience)

I tried the first video in her "30 day introduction to yoga" thing based on a bunch of other people recommending her.

I couldn't maintain the sitting position in the very first pose in the very first video for more than two minutes, got frustrated, and gave up. I feel like these "yoga for beginner" instructors don't understand just how inflexible some people are.

I'm sure she is great, and I am just particularly horribly inflexible, but I would still love to find a "yoga for absolute beginners who have dogshit flexibility"

What are you trying to get out of yoga?

(eg is it mental, physical, spiritual etc)

My Quadratus Lumborum (QL) is stiff and is causing a lot of pain. I randomly tweaked it at the gym Monday and for some reason, it took about a day for the pain/stiffness to begin in earnest.

What stretches/exercises (aside from building strength - working on that) do ya'll recommend?

The last year i have focused even more on hip mobility. I think a lot of people would be surprised that most injuries on the lower body are caused by poor hip mobility and weak glutes. In addition to strength training/yoga, i added running about a year ago and have become obsessed. Learned quickly ghat injuries will mount with poor hip mobility and weak glutes.

Our hips are the bridge between our upper and lower body.

Just go on YouTube or Instagram, plenty of great free stuff on there.

I workout everyday for two hours sweat, go hard, but wasn't seeing the results. My diet sucks. Eating candy and pizza all the time, but for the past week, I've stuck to my diet from myfitnesspal and haven't slipped up. Feels good. I think at the end of the month I might schedule a day for pizza

Try not to have cheat days, only cheat meals

More frequent than once a month and less calories than a whole pizza
