Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What about diet? Trying to get the sodium in the green isn't hard, eating plain chicken breast, but it's hard to eat because it's so bland. If I throw seasoning on it, it takes me out of the red. What can I do to make Wolfgang down 24oz if chicken daily manageable?

Unless you have any pre-existing conditions or specific doctor's recommendations, I don't think there's a need to monitor sodium intake

Honestly not quite sure, probably a mixture of all those. My legs always feel restless when I lay down to fall asleep at night. I have to stretch and then usually it subsides so I figured maybe I just need more stretching and movement in my daily life and yoga was the first thing to come to mind. Now that it is nicer out I will definitely be moving more, taking the dog for longer walks, etc etc so maybe this isn't even necessary.

I had to remember why I asked, lol...I think it was because if you were going to say you wanted to do yoga for mental health I was going to recommend giving progressive relaxation a shot.

If you find any decent super beginning yoga routine let me know though, I tried to get into it a couple months ago but the beginner routine that everyone recommended was way too advanced for me.

I only do one breast a day so it's just easy to think of it as hey, it's my medicine of the day, nbd, and get through it.

I sometimes do ketchup, I sometimes do hot sauce. They have a large variety of different types for different tastes

My best friend buys some Indian food seasoning and mixes the chicken in with it. Pretty good

I'm addicted to working out. Not being funny. Never take rest days. Fight through the pain. I only rest when I literary don't have the strength to do which happens once every I say 4 to 6 weeks. It's my addictive personality. I quit drinking 17 months ago and even though I've always been active this really filled the void. I have no friends, don't want any never have,so no people to fill my time. I do wish I could take an off day and find another activity. I'm sure I will soon because I want to.

Can we be friends?

I really don't want to workout tonight. I have to play basketball in the morning and have been getting whooped all week by workouts. Don't have the strength but also don't have the attention span to just sit at home. Think I'll try though. Hmm or should I suck it up and do a light lift

Did Bulgarian split squats Saturday for the first time in a long time. So much pain yesterday and today. Can barely sit ugh.

Also decided to try out turkesterone because why not, I already waste money on a ton of other supplements that probably have marginal benefit (except creatine and caffeine which have significant data).

I was looking into turkesterone a couple of months ago, but am too lazy to do research so gave up. What's it's purpose? I'm looking for something half ass looking into somwthithat can make me workout longer and harder.

Definitely creatine if you aren't taking it already. Not a game changer but its the most researched supplement out there with strong supporting evidence. Generally, it would help you eek out one or two more reps on a set.

Pre-workouts are fantastic as well if you want to workout harder and longer but there are a lot of garbage products out there. Anything from Gorilla Mind is going to be supremely legit. I use PureForm by RealScienceAthletics which is also supremely legit, just shorter list of ingredients.

A lot of pre-workouts include a bunch of ingredients that don't belong in a pre-workout just to make their product look more impressive, and/or severely underdose the active ingredients, and/or use shitty ingredients that might not be very bio-available, and/or don't even disclose how much of the ingredients are in the formula. So a lot of pre-workouts just end up being caffeine plus a bunch of shit that doesn't do anything. Caffeine is legit but if that's all you want in a pre-workout, just buy caffeine pills for a tenth of the price, lol. If you are caffeine-sensitive, Gorilla Mind has a non-stimulant pre-workout. I haven't tried it but I might.

I haven't watched this video but I'm guessing it would be a good overview for Turkesterone.

Just ordered some gorilla mode. Hopefully I turn into king kong

Creatine will expedite hair loss. May it may not be worth it depending on your age and genetics

I thought the connection between creatine and hair loss was bunk?

I've never taken creatine for super long periods of time, generally just for a span of a few months at a time when i am more serious about training.

I did do finasteride + minoxidil but stopped doing both out of concern for side effects and not having the patience and cranking down on my expenses. But side effects could have just been from diet and general mental shit I had going on, idk.

@LetsGoCavs finasteride is an oral supplement to prevent hair loss, and minoxidil is a topical product to restore hair growth (active ingredient in Rogaine). They are often used in combination and you can get a prescription very easily using websites like Keeps. Minoxidil is a "use it for life" thing and takes months and months if not a year to see results and can actually cause hair loss ("shedding") in the short term which might have been my problem.

There's some evidence that microneedling is just as effective as minoxidil for hair regrowth so that's what I have been doing. No idea if its working and even then I'm not diligent about it. But maybe something to look into if you don't wanna fuck with drugs.

What's that

Look at r/tressless on reddit. People legit going from absolutely no hair to almost perfect looking. That isn't typical but something like 90% retain their hair and more than half grow a significant amount back..

Finasteride or dutasteride is an oral pill taken daily.. maybe 6 bucks a month. This prevents hair loss.

Minoxidil is applied twice daily and is 7 bucks a month. This regrows hair and thickens follicles.

Dermarolling is like 3 bucks a month. Really catalizes the minoxidil. Lots of regrowth and thickening.

I'm taking ru58841 which isn't approved by the FDA but works a little differenlrly than the others (I'm on this because certain steroid cycles impact hair much more severely if on finasteride or dutasteride) and is maybe a few hundred a year.

Everyone should know about this stuff before they have to need it.

Per side effects: finasteride has a reported 1.8% libido/ed rate that stops if you stop the med. Dutasteride goes to 3%. If you can't handle the stuff just stop, but worth a shot

I buzzed my head a couple months ago and saw a thin spot so I jumped on and did a bunch of research. Before and after pictures on that subreddit will blow your mind.
