Psst...dude's a troll. Stop feeding the troll.....
haha na im familiar with his role on this forum. I find some of his posts to be accurate while also being horribly critical. I kinda like the variety of perspective around these here parts.

This dude is playing like a potential Finals MVP offensively. He is reminiscent of Wade in the way that he takes over games. Is this sustainable? TBD. However, we are witnessing something special.

Also, his playstyle (volume 3's and ability to generate FT's) lends me to believe he is capable of dropping 70 points in a game. I shit you not.

Don't see why not. We are witnessing what Mitchell looks like when his teammates are not lumbering corpses with par to subpar ability to put the ball in the hoop.

Its definitely sustainable because he did stuff like this before in the playoffs out west and his 2nd best player was Gobert.

Now he has Garland and 2 dudes on the same level of Golbert defensively (Mobley & Allen)

Gobert's biggest weakness was pick and roll not being able to guard smaller players but he was a fantastic rim protector.

I would argue for the modern NBA, Mobley and Allen are BETTER than Gobert because of their abilities to guard on switches. Oh and plus Garland.

Capable for sure.

I think if he was playing in a game with Garland there’s no way he’d have to do it.

I could see a situation where Garland and Mobley were out and Levert was having one of those off nights that Mitchell would go for it.

He played at an insane level tonight and the rest of the team let him down, most notably Garland freezing him out late in the 4th.

We needed the selfish ball hog that we kept hearing about in Utah. Man he should have shot more. He was unstoppable.

Perhaps a needed hard lesson for Garland, that at the end of the game, Mitchell is the horse to ride. Mitchell can be a bit careless with the ball at the end of games too, but also a pretty automatic bucket. Just even getting one bucket in that Clippers run would have changed the outcome of the game. Settling for jumpers is such garbage playing, I hate when any team does it, and I hate when it works too (encourages bad basketball)

It's nuts to pull up Mitchell's stats this season and compare them to MVP candidates like Giannis, Tatum, Morant, Jokic, Doncic, etc.,

He's either right there with them or better in most major categories.

Leading the league in minutes by a while point. Rather see him be around no8.

Definitely a little concerned he gets burned out or hurt.... the rest of the team needs to get it together more, and JBB needs to accept losses if it means in the long run he doesn't destroy Mitchell.
