Dwight Howard Saga

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
aw man, send him to the heat for bosh... nash signs with myami and its all over. look at that fuckign team.. nash, wade, james, howard. 82-0

Did the NBA suddenly start playing with 3 basketballs?

Double Howard, let LeDick & Wade prove they can beat you from the outside.

.. I also remember people saying the exact same thing when it was bosh wade bron, and they made the finals their first year..

cmon dude, theyre at the top of the league right now with bosh and without nash. You dont think that team would improve? no mention of nash in that hypothetical either, who will beat you with the three provide the heat with an actual point, ready to distribute and isn't obsessed with scoring. I see what youre saying, but lets be reasonable, that team would be ridiculous

I'm sure the Magic would be thrilled trading Howard to their division rivals for Chris Bosh.

please name a better offer. Ill give you as long as you want.

If you're being serious and it isn't sarcasm.. The Magic are better off letting Howard expire and walk than trading for Bosh. No reason to go for a power forward who can't even win a championship with two superstars on his team, let alone trying to go back and carry one himself.

Not sure what they could get for Howard, but I'm sure the Lakers would offer Andrew Bynum in any deal for him, which would be 100x better than Chris Bosh.

ill give you bynum but to say that would just let him walk rather than picking up bosh is unrealistic

There's no reason why the Magic would acquire Bosh, none. There's also a negative 100 percent chance they ever, ever trade their franchise player to the Miami Heat.

Let's just say the best offer is for Bosh.. The Magic would be better off letting Howard expire and then rebuilding like the Cavs are doing now. Yes it would take multiple years of being at the top of the lottery, but it's a better plan than holding off a rebuild for a 28(29 next NBA season) year old power forward who hasn't proven to carry a team past the first round of the playoffs.

Also, supposedly the Lakers had offered Bynum and a few other players for Howard before the deadline and before Howard signed his extension, so I wouldn't be surprised if it got revisited in the offseason. Either way, he isn't going to Miami.. Its not even on his supposed "list" of teams.

If Dwight only wanted to win, and was not a complete drama queen, Houston could put together a pretty good package including draft picks, new York would give you Stat and Chandler for Howard, just to give you two...

Bosh is definitely not someone they would/should want. He's not someone you build around at this point in his career - he would just ruin your cap flexibility while they attempt to rebuild.

The Heat should trade Wade if they are going to break up the big 3. Wade is on the wrong side of 30, injury prone, and he is a less talented version of LeBron.

I'd rather sign Brittney Griner than trade for Bosh Spice. At least Griner can mix it up inside.

They were at the top of the league last season too.

But haven't we learned that the regular season means absolutely squat?

Except Wade's clutch when it counts...
