Technically if you think about it, Windler attempting to break his face in half last night may have saved the Cavs a potential loss tonight… Pretty sure it hinged on the fact that he couldn’t go either (not like he can go when he’s not falling flat on his face) and therefor the Cavs dipped below the minimal players required.

Dylan Windler: Team player!
And then he also contracted Covid - just to make extra super sure that everything would work out.

if that foul happened at the pick up game, there'd be blows. That was some cheap shit, the Weak Greek had no chance of getting there but was embarrassed.

Still stunned there wasn't a foul call, a review nothing.. just fuck it, let the dude nearly kill the kid. You can't body check a guy even if he doesn't have the ball, and it looks like he got his head too.

Dylan laughs at all his single protocol teammates missing games. I’m in all the protocols motherfucker! Team neurologist having to suit up just to check if his eyes are crossed.

Once he gets all the current ailments he will start working through the rarer ones. Waiting for him to miss time with malaria and the bubonic plague.

That chasedown was as dirty as it gets and Thanos did hit him directly in the head while DW was hanging on the rim. I guess flagrant rules don't apply to bench players #NBA Rules. Should have been a flagrant 2 with possible ejection.

Windler has Covid....and a concussion. But he is one of the 5

LMAO at the Weak Greek. First time I heard that, amazing nickname.

I am happy he is OK and really am pulling for him to get better. He still lacks confidence and that’s a shame.

As far as the play, he got the ball and went in for like, a rhythm finish not a speed one. I thought a rhythm finish would have been fine too, but the Bucks hustled back in order to deliver the flagrant 3.

If you were his insurance agent, what would you be thinking?

Why did we let this goofy white muthaf*cka sign with us ?

I can't help but notice similar trends of ruthlessly trashing players in the Okoro and Windler threads. Not saying Windler is going to turn the corner soon, or ever, but I do think Windler deserves so patience; especially with what we saw Okoro do right before Covid.

I think Windler is done at this point & I dont think a change of scenery or development helps. We have seen his confidence issues all season. Now add being decapitated to the one steal & easy dunk he should have had. He will have zero confidence to shoot or take it to the hoop. I'm dumping him before anyone else figures that out.

Windler is five years older than Okoro and doesn’t have the NBA body or athleticism of Okoro. He’s an inferior prospect who hasn’t shown anything other than an ability to hit threes if left wide open.

Big diff between a 20 year old and a 25 year old.

Wade and Stevens have worked their way up from UDFA through two way player to decent role players and in Wade’s case, spot starter.

Windler does not “deserve” patience. Not every prospect, project or suspect will make it. He’s running out of time to prove himself in the NBA - this season and next, to be exact. Otherwise he’s going to be what they call Presidents who only win one election - a “one-termer”.

I think Windler isn’t an NBA player, but I do hope he proves me wrong starting ASAP.
