I loved his game wow. Definitely won't be limited to just a Korver role. His passing and diving for rebounds... Im kind of blown away not gonna lie. Small things but these are my type of players.

His lateral movement on defense I thought was good. He played the 4 basically late game but I think he will have some trouble against bigger guys.

Against guards and smaller wings though? He looked like he could be very competent.

Nice debut from him too :)

His defense surprised me alot,I thought it would be his weakness. I hope it continues.

Too funny how he hit the backboard and couldnt hit his free throws.

Had more butterflies than Okoro. There was much more pressure on Windler because of the injury and wanting to "be back".

I'll say he might take Cedi's job, but Cedi was splashing off the dribble, and Cedi's "range shots" were quite good. Windler is going to have to absolutely kill it and this SF competition is going to be cool.

Cedi smoothing out his game and gaining consistency and aggression would make him a really nice player.

Its wild how there is suddenly a lot of depth and versatility

Windler surprised me with an offensive rebound and put-back and also that little right-handed jump hook after driving the lane and pulling up. He showed me a couple of ways he can score besides spotting up for a 3.

Because he was out so long and because he played a lower level of college ball I think it's going to be a while before we know how big his role will be this season.

Kind of surprised that he appears to have more to offer than just shooting. Was blinking a couple times seeing him in the rotation. Hope he gets a lot of time to run this year.

Felt like I was watching a combination of a young Paul Pierce and...A veteran Paul Pierce. But I did not watch the game.
I felt like I was watching a white, left-handed Paul Pierce only without the attitude and before he got really good. But I didn't watch the game, either.

Surprised his defensive awareness was as high as it was, although he got lost about who to guard at times.

Rebounding looks like it will translate.

Gonna be weird if Okoro is the better shooter from 3 and the line like Sexton is with Darius. lol

I think,it was just rust. He hasn't play a meaningful game in two years. I was impressed by his rebounding and defense awareness....

I think alot of people thought he was a Kyle Korver clone.

Like,I said a few times,he has more upside than Toppin to me..imo

Yeah, do you think he takes the starting spot from Cedi? I think Okoro is more likely to. Cedi looks like he is going to push anyone who thinks they are going to get that spot.

The combo of Okoro and Windler could push Sexton or Garland to the bench by the end of the year with who is on the bench being a super sub type player.

Heck, if KPJ gets his head on straight, he could end up starting too. We really are developing young talent in our 1-3 positions.

I think it is going to be harder to displace Sexton or Garland unless one of Okoro, Windler or KPJ really starts to shine as a passer. With either of Sexton or Garland starting you need supplementary playmaking. Maybe KPJ has theinside track on that, but his off court stuff complicates that.
