A new podcast to get the bitter taste of the end of the Heels and Cavs games out of my mouth. That's what's up.
(Mando getting hurt reminded me too much of the Kyrie moment in 2015.)

I still haven’t recovered from the end of that game.

Right before that freakish Mando reinjury, the guy who I predicted COULD have a huge impact on our game Puff Johnson got punched in the stomach and lost his lunch on the court just as he was single-handedly winning the game for us.

I counted about 3 assaults (Brady probably had 2 concussions and Puff) and that freakish ankle tweak and we STILL almost won the game

I mentioned the Smashing Pumpkins during our Foo Fighters segment and said the lead singer was Groban instead of Corgan

This is how you know I was already pre-gaming for the NCAA Championship game

Love how CDT didnt incredulously correct me and understood where I was going with the comparison between Grohl singing on Aurora and Corgan singing on Today for the Pumpkins :chuckle:

Great stuff guys. @RchfldCavRaised I think you have a good read on the JBB situation now. I've been getting more concerned as the season has gone on and I think now it's too late for him to change this year, but I hope that after a summer of self scouting the team can do a much better job in addressing his weaknesses as a coach. It's a shame that he's so bad right now in Xs and Os, since he clearly nails what's probably a good 80% of being a good NBA head coach, and that's getting the buy in of your best players. Granted it feels like the Cavs are full of high character guys that make doing so easy, but it's still the most important part.

Noticed that, but it's all good! We all knew what you meant :chuckle: Josh Groban on Smashing Pumpkins would've been interesting. Raising Up all the rage may have put the rat out of the cage.

CDT was a wonderful guest, loved his insights! Turning an ankle outside during Game 7 night... Goodness. Can't believe Swish tossed bottles in the street like that! I mean, turning your ankle on one of his shirts, I could understand. Pipe letting those things fly.

Josh Groban sang as a stand-in for Billy during the Smashing Pumpkins Christmas Tour.

Silent Night Tonight Tonight was a real powerhouse, but where it really stands the test of time is with The Impossible Siamese Dream.

If I said Groban instead of Billy Corgan around my record store rock brothers, I would be in the ICU right now

I still remember the day they all threatened to quit because I played Creed in the store. Only the manager of the day could touch the cd carousel that was playing throughout the store, so I put Creed on and walked away. Literally one and half songs played before the 2 hourlees threatened to quit and go work at Subway next door instead of listening to Creed :chuckle:

100% sure you would NOT have let me make that mistake live on air and publish that.

You complete me

If they went through with that, I hope Subway was playing Nickelback. :chuckle:

Hate for bands like Nickelback, creed, and imagine dragons is so silly

If it's not for you, judt don't listen. They weren't horrible

100%

Not all music has to be brand new and just because it isn’t for you doesn’t mean it can’t be for someone.

Unless a band is stealing music from someone else, quit bitching.

That’s why I’m a huge Led Zeppelin fan. Innovators all around.

Er…wait a second…

(Frt big fan, but they were thieves of the highest order)

Only exception here is Velvet Underground. They fucking sucked and all those top ___ lists they end up on are either a result of peer pressure or pretentiousness.

I disagree. I believe we all have our personal preferences and likes and dislikes and to talk about those preferences isn't silly. People in my store who were passionate about Radiohead were equally mad if I played Coldplay, for example.

I can't stand JayZ and don't have him anywhere on my hip hop mount Rushmore and I regularly jump into conversations to debate his mediocrity, and overhype the greatness of Nas, for example.

It's sport for me

I'm big on Nashvilles own Kings of Leon
