I just noticed you posted this Tiny Desk 10 mins after I uploaded the fixed audio version of the episode. I'm over here scratching my head like either BIW has amazing intuition and knows from the bulletpoints who the Pitts rapper I was going to recommend or he got a live alert when we streamed this episode on youtube yesterday and soildered through the terrible audio that didnt have my microphone turned on.

Which one was it?

Just for clarification, I just think the coach has to go first, the sooner the better. Give a new guy a chance to change Mitchell, then go get assets for him if its still a bust.

Funny you mention this because I was going to explain in my initial post but thought no one would give a shit lol.

The podcast happened to pop up in my YouTube suggested and I was a good 25 minutes in before it just cut off and a message popped up saying the uploader deleted the video. Then I looked here and you had posted the new link.

The audio on the first upload didn’t sound bad to me. Maybe I just hadn’t gotten to the bad part.

Absolutely! I believe I put you and Sebastian in the same boat. Neither of you guys stand alone in your thinking. I'm personally firmly entrenched in a more extreme category than either of you in that I'm already convinced we need to maximize the DM return without regard for coaching. The time to try that variable, I believe, passed at the start of the season

Appreciate you listening. We are working on doing some of the Youtube recommends to get them to recommend listeners more based on the tags, so that's why I asked. You just confirmed what I was hoping was starting to happen.

Glad you gave me a heads up - I usually don't watch the video. My big question: did your daughter decide to invade the show or was she sent as a subtle message?

I mean I think that i could go either way at this point, however I would probably gamble depending on what a levert / okoro / filler package could bring back in the way of SF with a different coach.

I'm going to say something you won't like, but part of me wants cpj to get real minutes because I can see a path the the championship of trading Garland to fill out the roster too. The same way we both see trading Mitchell could be done to do the same.

Something has to give sooner than later because I don't see Coach Mobley supporting his son staying long term given the current coaching and roster build. Obviously he is going to sign his max deal but how long before he starts pushing for a change of scenery down the road.

So for the record I'm get a new coach, explore trading DM and then exploring DG trade in that order of priority. 2 of those things are more than likely (baring some Championship puzzle trophy shit happening again ) are going to have to happen to get us to contender status.

Now for the sunshine pumping crowd, of course I'd love for it to click with this roster maybe filling it out with a levert and okoro and filler package. I just don't haven't seen it, I haven't seen anyone outside of Stuss play the way we need to win a championship.

Even in the Orlando game I saw a bunch I didn't like. However I just didn't want to rain on the parade.

A three hour podcast could be done breaking down the Miami game play by play & substitution by substitution. We have a deep bench and played 11 tonight. It makes the recent 8 man rotations look silly.

I have an inkling you’re coming for those Pistons. I’m so hopeful that they keep playing the way they are so Thompson and Stewart are obtainable that I won’t wish them to improve anytime soon
