He's also averaging 3.1 blocks over the last 6 games. So those ridiculous shot contest numbers are actually showing up in the box score now.

Mobley named Eastern Conference rookie of the month for October and November. So basically rookie of the year so far since the other ROY contenders are all in the east.

Raptors fans in complete state of denial. They just knew Barnes was winning this. Mobley missed a 1.5 week worth of games too lmao

They should be happy -- they got the second best player in draft while drafting 4th. And even as the second best player, he still may be a franchise guy.

I'm not a draft guy, and never really have been. But I can say I was one of the comparatively few here who argued to take both Mobley and Barnes before any of the other guys available. So I have that tiny little bit of being right to offset a little all the times I'm not. :chuckle:

Barnes is a future star. Super well-rounded. Lot to be happy about there.

Mobley is a generational talent.

If we’re talking about players that you can make the money work on, it’s impossible. If you’re talking about players I’d actually want more:

Luka
Jokic
Giannis

Young guys who are just as freakish at positions of value.

That’s it.

Rocket fans are losing their minds…

Not only have the Cavs went on a winning streak with Mobley but the Rockets without Green are streaking…

You know they won't be satisfied with that. They have to convince the whole world their guy is the best even though he's 2nd best. Typical Raps fandom

No doubt the Cavs were very interested in Barnes. If they got any word from Mobley's camp that he didn't want to be in Cleveland, I believe they take Barnes at #3.

I hope they learned their lesson about guys saying they won’t play for XYZ. SGA ended up in fucking OKC.

They all come around eventually.

Already posted.

Slim Reaper with his first ROTM! He’s already starting off December good too.

RACK EM UP!

His name is Mobility. Don’t forget it!

Luka cant defend, too much iso, no thanks

Jokic, is a stud on offense, but not great defensively, maybe, but probably not.

Giannis is ridiculous, but I cant spell his last name. Even with the spelling issue, yes probably take Giannis over Mobley. That's it.

Mobley has about the same stats as Barnes but….Mobley has that crazy defense so whoever thinks Barnes is roy they undenial at this point. Mobley is the roy so far and is not that close

He is so patient. He never reaches until Herro exposes the ball. I've never really seen instincts like this so young. Kawhi maybe? His hands are so fast.

You also wonder if there is a psychological element to that sequence. They run a pick to deliberately put Mobley on him and then he tries to get off a shot, passes, then tries again before getting stopped. After that would the Heat try to go at him again in that manner or just move on to something else?
