I'm trying to stay under control, but it is difficult. Mobley has a very deep well. He has ELITE IQ.

He has an awareness of the game that is just amazing. Need to get him involved in everything that is going on .

He is a stat filler that's for sure. And those are not empty stats. His assist numbers will trend upwards soon enough.

Honestly, speaking on scoring volume, if the Cavs wanted to maximize Mobley's scoring output they would play the 5 spot in a spread out floor as a PnR roll man. He is so quick to roll, has such great hands, ridiculously quick leaper and is a fantastic decision maker and passer (I suppose he is great in the short roll)... all those attributes make me believe he would be difficult to stop. I feared he would get pushed around, but so far he hasn't. and he has battled some girthy centers, I think. At least for a bit. Unfortunately the Cavs don't have many shooters at all to make it that viable, and even if they did, they can't because they signed Allen to this contract. Nonetheless, I'd like them to play Mobley in spurts at the 5 spot with either Garland or Rubio surrounded by as many shooters as possible.

His size has only been a slight liability so far. I really think he is firmly in ROY consideration if his current output is indicative of future output

You can see the point guard skills in his game. His defense is so far advanced for a kid his age, This kid is special.

I think Evan Mobley might be good at basketball.
I know they want him shooting the 3, but I'd like to see him take some of those midrange shots and then extend it to the corner. Doesn't seem to quite have the legs in it for the shot from the left or right arc yet.

Dude already looks like a star. There is no ceiling for what he can accomplish in this league.

Everything the Cavs do from here on out needs to revolve around Mobley. Build the team around him, give him everything he needs/wants and do whatever it takes to keep him here.

No reason this team shouldn't be in the Playoffs next season with proper roster tweaking.
