Ex Indians update

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Listen. I hope this doesn’t turn into another pissing match between posters. I don’t know anyone involved in Cleveland baseball personally - that includes players, staff, and people on message boards. I don’t know Trevor Bauer or Tito Francona or Jup or CATS. I know that Jup and CATS both know a lot about baseball. I know that Bauer has been ahead of the curve on the approach to pitching and thats to his credit. I know Tito has been a successful manager for decades. Are these guys “good people”? I do not know. Bauer is in serious trouble and I don’t know every particular detail about what happened. Tito isn’t liked by Jup and I don’t know every particular detail about that, either. I wish we all could quit the animosity, that’s all. It takes away from the enjoyment of this board. And I think most of us would agree.
Seems to me I have read many comments similar, that occur in various ways on this very board, about changes people would like to see or are happy about that involve players and management level also. Seems like a legitimate comment to me.

If you don't like the fact that I gave a personal feeling by using the word "despise" - OK, I can get that. But it isn't something unique to me as you see similar and worse all the time in the game threads.

And on the other front Marty - it is and has been obvious I am not allowed to respond about many type comments and subjects, because then I am the one at fault. That includes multiple posters and subject areas, so I simply don't any longer. But I thought I would take the opportunity to make that point to you, even though the subject matter and poster fall in the "not favorable" area to respond to.

Seems like a civil way to do it, but I guess it could be called a pissing match since it is the third iteration (my comment, your comment, my response). Anyway, last comment on the subject from my side this time around.

One last thing since I took the time to comment. And this clearly won't be liked.

Even though I wish no one bad health, especially at my age, but I still couldn't be happier that someone I absolutely despise is an x-Indian, at least for the remainder of the year. Wouldn't mind it being permanent.
Confirmed, he's Bauer.

I don't know much about who you are or what your connections are, but I can say I've appreciated and learned a few things from your commentary especially regarding details around pitching. If there is objective criticism about principal people in the organization I'm always interested. Or if there are subjective opinions more related to personality, perceived unfairness, or whatever, I'd think that is fair game as long as it's presented as subjective opinion/perception, and not necessarily as absolute fact. I can also understand reluctance to air dirty laundry or divulge things better left as private matters.

The lines between what can be topics open to discussion and things better left unsaid can be thin and blurred at times, and different people can have radically differing opinions based on their particular unique perspective and independent experiences.

I do hope opposing opinions can always be discussed in a respectful manner, and that no-one feels "stifled" or attacked when sharing useful information. After all that is kind of the point for having these forums for discussion around areas of common interest.

And now we are beginning to see a history of this behavior.
Trevor Bauer appears to be a psychopath. No other way to spin it.

Should anybody really be surprised?

Bread crumbs have been left behind for a long time.
