I like Pries a whole lot better than Jones. Less swing and miss and just as much power without selling out for it. What isn't mentioned much is how well Pries runs for a big guy so I don't think corner OF reps are out of the question even if we don't need him there. He looks to be a damn good 1B regardless. Me likes a lot.

Think... None of the outlets are ranking him as a prospect. I don't think he's near anyone's top 50.

Jones was mentioned here since he is an ex Guardian and I was simply stating that I like Pries better anyway so not the wrong thread as it was more about Jones.

I could really care less about most of the prospect rankings. I look at performance and profile when digging into a prospects possibilities anyway. They are often so wildly inconsistent between their rankings that any logical person would have red flags waving everywhere.

Jones can't hit a baseball. Unless he learns to...which is increasingly unlikely...he isnt gonna play much in MLB.
