I would think it’s the opposite in terms of Love. He’ll be appreciative of the move that was made. He’ll be eager to see how they fit and can play off each other. They’re friendly and share an agent.

How that ends up in terms of wins and losses I don’t know since we have so few wings and such poor dribble penetration resistance, but I think Love will lock in for a stretch and out his best foot forward.

He also got a reality check that no one wants him. He needs to play his way out of town if he wants to go

13-17 if I'm being optimistic. Against that schedule I would have said we'd be fortunate to go 10-20, and I figure Drummond is a +3.

I would say any where from 10 to 18 wins. I voted for 14-15 Wins. Drummond really seems like the type of player we have been missing for so long. And I believe in Garland still and last year both Sexton and Young took that next step post allstar break. Young guys bodies usually break down by January then the week off for All-Star weekend usually gets them fresh again. I expect Garland to tick upwards rest of the way and Drummond will have an impact.

We finally win in Miami and get excited then the wheels fall off.....8 more wins.

8-22

Draft another PG

Rinse and repeat
To be honest, the team should draft the best player available.

Sexton is showing he has a future in this league... the question is if he’s a starting guard or super bench scorer?

Garland has not shown anything beyond potential. You cannot pass on the best player because of Garland, and frankly, I still think he has potential to be a star PG... but the evidence just is not consistent enough yet.

I'll be optimistic and say .500.

It needs to be decentish though. 12-18 is like the bottom imo of whats acceptable. Theyve got the requisite talent to be betrer than the bottom rung teams.

We have more talent now than the Knicks, Warriors, Hornets and some others.

On the other end, if they get hot and even come close to losing decent draft position they'll just sit guys and force losses.

Yeah if they somehow go on a tear, like if Sexton and Drummond are dynamite together or something, and Love is re-invigorated to playing like he was at the beginning of the year, I think they sit Love a few games and he never plays back to backs if we start approaching 15 wins.

I think the story of this, is that we are going to be in way more games, but the young guys continue losing it at the end of close games. I do think it puts us in a position to play those guys we have no business hanging with closer. Top teams.

If the defense can even be top 20 after this, it will result in some wins for sure.

Great night for insuring that the Cavs even if they stay winning some do not lose their top10 protected picks.

PHX beat HOU(Westbrook out)
SAC beat MIA (Butler, Iggy, Herro out)
WAS beat DAL (Luka out)

I agree with this to an extent. This draft has some taller PGs and I would be fine taking another PG if that PG is 6'5 or taller. If best player available is another 6'1 PG that projects on the same level as Sexton and Garland, I'm not sure it wise to take another. At some point they have to trust their previous evaluations and have it play out. Adding another small PG to the mix is just going to hurt their development or the develop of one of the PGs. Now if they think that small PG is a better prospect than Sexton or Garland then it's probably worth drafting and moving on from one of them.
