Proven lol. Nice try.
You’d have an “older” Jay Bruce and Santana too. Zimmer, Lindor and Ramirez are all “older” too.
Whatever that means.
Brantley is playing around the home opener, my speculation on Kluber is mostly speculative.
People like to be negative and call it realist, but really it often sounds like an excuse to hear themselves talk.
@az what do you think of the shohei otani kid who the angels signed? Kid seems like an interesting prospect because he can pitch and hit.
His last full year was pretty crazy 10-4 with 1.86 Era with 170 k's in 140 innings while hitting over .300 with 22hr's in 300+ ab's as the dh when he wasn't pitching In Japan. Think he had an ankle injury last year iirc, do you think he'll end up having to choose between pitching and hitting or just roll with it for awhile?

Yeah, proven. Moving along now.
The Indians could bomb completely this year, and it won’t mean any of the people I’m talking about know an ounce more about baseball.No. We'll talk later this season.
I’m not sure he’s good enough as a hitter to be a regular. But at worst he’s a AAAA hitter with pop who can act as an extra swing when teams need it late, that adds value.
But he can really bring it as a pitcher.
If he’s healthy I think he’s an All Star there.
No. Executives, scouts and analysts post on sports message boards all the time. We're all just a bunch of fanboys.
Realistically this team is weaker than both the 2016 and 2017 models. No need for a bold prediction. A good season will be winning the division again before Miller departs. Lindor will be traded in 2020. The best hope is to win the division and hope for a miracle in the playoffs. It could happen but I don’t know if the hunger is still there. Up 3-1 in 2016 was likely the best shot this decade.

What I dont understand is why he didnt just sign with an NL team as a SP so his 2 way value could be maximized...
