We can’t completely absolve Baker for his struggles because he just hasn’t made enough of the plays that have been there for him to make all year long.

Combine that with rumors of Baker and the rest of the offense not putting in the work in the offseason and they all have plenty to be held accountable for.

All that said... I have a feeling we’re all underestimating the anchor that is Freddie Kitchens that’s been hanging around Baker and everyone else’s neck.

The fact that Baker wastes more time pre-snap telling the WRs where to line up than he does making reads tells you all you need to know.

A 2nd year player is allowed to look underprepared at times. An entire coaching staff is not, especially when the corrections to make are obvious.

On top of the two gems listed, here's another genius decision from yesterday...

Trailing by 15 with 3:25 left to go in the 3rd quarter, the Browns opt to attempt a 47-yard field goal on 4th and 10 from the Baltimore 29 to cut the deficit from 2 possessions... to 2 possessions.

This kinda makes sense to me. You're saying you hope you can keep the Ravens out of the endzone, but you're conceding they will at least kick a field goal which still leaves you with a 2 possession game as opposed to 3.
