It's one of my least favorite apps. Their odds are typically a little worse than other books, their boosts usually aren't that great, and their bonuses are usually tied to a "mystery wheel" that most of the time ends up being $5.

It's absolutely about the long game for them. During the initial launch the amount of bonus bets and promos each book was running were just completely bonkers. Getting people hooked by giving them their first few hits for free is one of the oldest tricks.

This isnt meant to brag by any means, but I made 5k in my first year pretty easily, and that includes skipping most of baseball season, but so much of that was done from signup bonuses. I'm off to a really successful start to this year as well, but like I stated up thread, you just have to stick to the bonus offers, free bets, and boosted odds. If you can train yourself to do that, which it sounds like you have, then there is definitely money to be made.

I'm guessing that you and I aren't the typical sports gambling consumer, and they can afford to keep floating us freebies because the vast majority of people burn through those and then double down with a bunch of actual cash. It's all about patience and sticking to whatever game plan is successful for you.

The FanDuel boosts have hit 6 or 7 out of the last 8 nights which really helped. Otherwise, I’m sure I would have been in the hole.

My two cbb upsets yesterday easily won with Duquesne money line and Oregon over South Carolina outright both at plus money

Today, I have a couple more…

#11 New Mexico should beat #6 Clemson outright
#10 Colorado over #7 Florida (those seeds should be reversed)
#12 James Madison should not be getting 5 points from #5 Wisconsin, I don’t think Wis will cover but I’m also considering taking JM
#1 Purdue is giving #16 Grambling 27pts, no way they cover that

And the game I’m going to be in the air the most about is the last…

Since 10/1/2023 if you would have bet $20 on every FanDuel boost, you would be up over 1k in profits. Typically the max bet is $50. You can do the math on the profitability if you would have maxed them.

This kind of vice obviously isnt for everyone, but I also push back quite a bit on those that think everyone loses and there isnt a safe way to enjoy it and be profitable.
