Sasha had periods of the game where he was playing his game.. choosing his spots cutting through the defense and chasing around ray allen. then he tried to be something he isn't.. a scorer and proceeded to miss shot and turn the ball over consistantly..

no one else was doing anything...at least showed some fire and tried to make things happen with wierd lineup and got under Pierces skin...but of course he is not a go to guy...MB should know this by now.

I love all the flopping by Pierce especially that foul on AV, when Pierce gets touched 50 feet from the hoop he just jerks like he's having a convulsion and gets a phantom foul call, lebron gets hammered going to the rim and no call, I love it!

Stream of conscious thoughts on the game:

We shot ourselves in the foot tonight. WAY too many turnovers (20+) and napping on defense as well, leading to easy buckets. I knew our defense was too lax with the first points by Boston, easy dunks in those first few minutes are inexcusable. Free throws for LBJ...their called "free" for a reason man! Andy played exceptionally well, but let's see consistency. I laughed as Paul Pierce got teary eyed when he got his ring. The refs weren't too bad on either side, but we can't expect anything out of them anyway. My advice is to avoid ESPN and not put yourself through the crap they'll spew on how great the Celts are. JUST DON"T DO IT. Hope the Cavs come to play this Thursday at home, they better, I've got tickets.

My understanding was JJ was benched for being late, but only for that 1 preseason game. I think Wright got the PT tonight because JJ looked lost in his last game (which was against the same Celtics team), while Wright played pretty well vs. Washington.

Hmm I kinda think Lebron should be playing about 40ish mpg.. In at the 8-9 mark of every 2nd and 4th.. He stablizes our offense when we cant score..

LoWro played because Hickson was disciplined tonight.

Hickson was already Disciplined Preseason, that's what they were talking about. He wasn't just tonight, Hickson will be lucky if he gets any minutes by the trade deadline since he's in MB Dog House. I could see LOWRO Forcing Brown's hand by game 3 with a Wesleyesque performance on Friday!

Too many turnovers, LeBron and Mo looked terrible on defense, and too many easy buckets for Boston will result in a loss everytime. Cut back on the errors, and we'll be fine.

.....First people lets calm down....its one game against the defending champs and we didnt get killed. LeBron for some reason doesnt play that good on opening night(at least not last year). But as far as the game goes........HOW do we lose when the played HORRIBLE.....they couldnt buy a shot and KG and Ray didnt do good.
Lebron just got burnt by Paul Pierce every time. O.....and when he did get scored on, he could of at least of made up for it by scoring back but HE DIDNT.....and if it werent for a few free throw we could of won (cough cough LEBRON)......basically if lebron would of had a normal game we would of won because most everyone else did play decent
