Game 10 | San Antonio Spurs (6-4) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (5-4) | November 19, 2014 | 7:00PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Again, this is professional basketball. You play the players. What Waiters is doing, is no more offensive than any other player. He was picked on tonight and unfairly.

well IMO Marion should have played over Dion and Harris in the 4th.. but Dion hasn't played at the end of any games this year so it really isn't surprising.. and Dion behind him as you say he was laughing about whatever is more on Dion than Blatt.. maybe the rest of the team agrees with Harris over Dion and all the players other than Dion respects Blatt

I dunno boys I like what happened. I like that we not only trusted Harris to play more minutes but left him in late, even through his mistakes. I liked that everyone's minutes were down.

Two can play this game. LeBron lost his dribble, but the Spurs made plenty of mistakes too. One FG in 8 minutes proves that. The refs undoubtedly kept them in this game. I'm shocked that any impartial observer, much less a Cavs fan, would dispute that.

Who the hell cares? Awful argument.

This literally happens every... single... game no matter who's playing. We didn't play well enough to win. End of story.

Positives to take from this game are

Kyrie's Defense was steller tonight
Andy was thriving out there on PnR's

Exactly. I like Harris and people need to keep in mind he's still a rookie who's looking to crack the starting rotation at some point this season with his size and ability to hit the long ball. I like what I've seen.

Are we gonna act like there wasn't a kickball?

So I'm trying to understand a few things...

1) Why didn't we have any timeouts in such a close game? The 3rd quarter had several dozen lead changes. Rookie coach mistake... but should've been pointed out by his assistants.

2) Why is Harris getting so much play, especially in the 4th quarter where Dion's scoring could be immensely valuable. Harris got torched. What lesson are you teaching Dion by yanking him out so he can watch his team lose without him on the floor.. Enough is enough.

3) Why is Kyrie not handling the ball in crunch time? LeBron has been turnover prone all game, Kyrie is the hot man (besides Andy). Why have LeBron dribble through 2 people? Makes no sense.

For a coach who doesn't want to be treated as a rookie coach, he sure is making some very rookie mistakes.

Maybe, maybe not. But Dion wasn't giving a lack of effort on defense like when Delly got the end of the game instead of him earlier in the year. he was just playing like everybody else. Dion needed to be in there ready to hit a big shot. Play your best damn players and stop with the matchup bs at the end. Blatt over thunk the game and it cost him(again). I really doubt they wanted Joe Harris out there. Just the look on Lebron's face after the Harris miss and then foul was enough for me.

No.. it doesn't. I haven't a string of horrible calls like that all year so far. It most decidedly does NOT happen every game. No matter how contrarian you want to be, you're wrong. The refs had a massive effect on this game. Period.

Doesn't look like Lebron respects Blatt, I felt like he was in the middle of a timeout huddle and Blatt was next to him while Lebron was coaching and shouting at the players then Blatt moved him a bit.
Lebron is playing bad, he's slow right now, he's getting stuck on offense and I feel like we could have had a better chance with Kyrie handling business with Love rather then Lebron "show".

It all came down to execution from both players and coach play calling we failed at both and lost the game. The whole game we closed out to Diaw and let him go right just bad attention to detail. Blatt should have substituted Marion for Harris he just sticks with players too long. On Monday it was Tristan turn with being in the line up too long, when Delly was healthy he stuck with him too long. Its all about preparation and attention to detail.

The Dion thing is easy. He's deathly afraid of Waiters deciding it's going to be his offensive possession and jack a terrible long two. He did it multiple times earlier in the game. I get leaving in a guy who is just going to play his role and not kill offensive flow.

He brought the ball up after a missed free throw while getting swarmed by defenders with single digits on the clock. It wasn't like it was planned for him to bring the ball up the court.

Agreed on the timeouts.

yea up 84-81 and we had multiple Off Reb and shots and couldn't hit them.. LeBron and Love were off.. would have liked to seen Love get a post touch late.. think he took 1 shot all 4th and that was a missed 3.. also LeBron and Kyrie make some nice pocket passes but they both try to thread the needle way too much... especially LeBron.. the pass of Khawi was terribly forced and a big momentum changer as well
