Game 12 | Cleveland @ Washington | November 18, 2009 | 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Your math is how most Southerners end up in jail right around the same time as their cousins.

I'm offended.

Anyway, glad I had to miss this game due to work tonight. From what I saw on my phone it seemed like the tale of two halves. Anyone care to give me a quick rundown (emphasis on quick, and keep it from being overly pessimistic)? And LeBron hurt his wrist I see--How and when?

Thanks a lot. Hopefully this wakes the team up a bit for Indiana (since the last three games have been sloppy, going up big only to let the opponent get back in the game by the fourth quarter).

why are they saying IND won tonight

1st half we were hitting our jumpers (and they were not)
2nd half we did not (and they did)

Thusly, had to go to a lot of LeISO. LBJ is the only reason we didn't lose by 40.

LBJ hurt his hand on a sick left-handed dunk. He should be OK.

First half, we flowed pretty well. JJ got in foul trouble very early, but Darnell filled in nicely. Mo shot abismally. Went to halftime with the lead.

Second half, the wheels fell off. Our frontcourt was ineffective, Z looked bad against Haywood, and JJ/Darnell couldn't do much. LeBron let Deshawnna get in his head for some reason and started playing LeHoist. Mo was still turrible. No one attacked the basket, but the Wiz were attacking the basket and getting to the line.

LeBron seemed to lose his cool in the 4th quarter and did some dumb stuff, which included a crazy moster left-handed dunk where he injured his wrist. He thinks the wrist is OK, but Windy tweeted that it is still sore. More to come.

Delonte played, but was pretty ineffective as well - either his body or his mind wasn't in it.

My dog just walked up to me and licked my balls. Just walked up, stopped, licked my balls...and then ran off.

When a team shoots 42% and scores 108 points, it's usually because they killed the opponent on the boards... Wash +14.

I understand it seems like our team gave up tonight. But in the end, a foul is a foul. If called on one end of the floor, it should be called on the other end of the floor. All I want from the refs is consistency.

LOL, better stop watching the NBA! ;)

Thanks for the write ups, fellas.

After careful deliberation, I'm gonna have to blame myself for this loss. The last time I bumped into Mr. Jamison was out in Las Vegas during the summer. I dapped him up, and said "good luck this season, man." He was clearly taken back by this gesture, as I'm sure I was the first person to have wished him good luck all summer.

With tonight being the first night of his season thanks to an untimely injury, there is no doubt in my mind that our little interaction was playing over and over in his head during the entire pregame. "Do it for that fan," Antawn thought as he coasted to 31 points and 10 rebounds tonight.

Looking back on our exchange I should've added an escape clause for the Cavaliers, but how was I supposed to know that his first game back would come against us? Either way, we're a no excuse game so no excuses from me. Put the L on me tonight, guys.

I'd just like to thank the Cavs for taking the best game thread ever and pissing all over it...

Hope you guys are happy....

Saw the team mail it in. Delonte went on a game 6 run for a 2 possessions. He should have tried it earlier. As Mo goes goes the team seemed to be true.

Jamario was good, but you could tell they were exploiting his ankle off the dribble. He couldn't keep up like normal.

Our offense looked good in the first half, but we went away from the drive and kick. If we settle for jumpers in the 2nd half we are going to lose some games. We have to use our hot initial shot making as a way to get in the paint, not a justification for shooting more shots. I trust the team to adjust. Fatigue likely had a hand in the 2nd half shooting %.

anyone got a link to brons dunk and moons?

Went to the game tonight. Nothing to add really, other than nobody was really effective outside of LeBron (and Z at times). The offense just completely broke down.

I have to admire LeBron though for playing through the spectacle of playing in Washington. Everyone is there to boo him, not so much to root for the Wizards. Its dead quiet until he touches the ball, and the crowd lights up. To play through that is pretty amazing (though I agree got lulled into a bit of a one-on-one with DeShawn.

But the best part is they boo him constantly until he finishes some amazing play, and then they cheer. For instance, he was loudly booed for about 10 seconds until he unleashed that two-handed dunk off the spin move in the lane, and the crowd went absolutely bonkers. Rightfully so, but it was weird to see the sudden change.
