Game 21 | Cleveland @ Memphis | December 8th, 2009 | 8:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Why don't you all shut up about the Lakers.. We lost a game, get over it. There are plenty more to play.

Note to LeBron, notice when you pass first, get your 10+ assists, take 10-17 shots, you and your teammates own the other team, but when you ball hog and take 29 shots, we are far worse. The sooner you realize you need your teammates to win, the sooner we win a 'ship. Until then, we are just a good team.

All of the above confirms your troll status. Just stop posting please.

Oh stop it. To all in here; STOP IT. The guy can post in here if he wants to post. He just needs to realize that Cavs fans are PISSED OFF right now. I am. At the same time, he's been a good member in here so lay off please.

LOL why oh why? :) pathetic. Are you really like that? Do nba fans really revolve around cavs or Lebron only?
Well let's see, the site is call REAL CAVS FANS, so yes, here it does. Enjoy the smack of the banhammer.

You guys would definitely go through the same thing on a Lakers board, but yea I'm not trying to console anyone. I'm a Lakers fan and also an NBA fan, and this game was on NBAtv so I caught the end and decided to just post my thoughts on it. No one needs to freak out.

Good call, except I'm not posting on a Lakers board. I'm here to talk Cavs bball with Cavs fans. Whether your intentions were to mock us after a loss or not, anything you say...especially immediately after a bad loss isn't going to be received very well. Not to mention your in here rooting for Memphis.

Whatever, I'm over it...just think before you post and take into consideration how upset you might be if the Lakers lost to Memphis and a Cavs fan was throwing in their immediate 2 cents about it.

I root for every team the Lakers play against. I don't see his actions as outrageous.

At the end of the day it's a random regular season game. If we play flat and have no effort in the game vs Houston the I'll be a tad angry and concerned

Yeah but are you on the Lakers boards cheering on their opponents? My guess would be no, your not.

I said it before I'll say it again--if we keep losing to the Memphises, Washingtons, Charlottes, and Chicagos of the world, that's all fine and dandy. The only loss that has bothered me to this point was the Boston one at home, but that was without the rotation set or everyone back. In an 82 game season you're bound to play bad second halves on the road and lose to bad teams. As long as we bring it against playoff teams (e.g. waxing Orlando, Miami, Phoenix, and Dallas) I won't care too much about these games.

Remember when everyone would flip out like this over losses against Orlando and upper tier teams? Don't ever wanna go back to those days.
I wouldn't consider it "all fine and dandy" considering HCA is kinda important in the East with Orlando and Boston. I realize a loss against a bad team in the reg. season is simply that - but those should-be wins really do add up and could stick us as a 2 or 3 seed. Maybe you disagree, but playing Atlanta in the second round and then BOS/ORL in the ECF is a helluva lot more appealing than playing Boston AND Orlando.

Losing an occasional game against a bad team is fine. That happens to the best of the best. The problem is, it's happened multiple times ALREADY. Once the playoffs come around, I think fans will really miss those wins. A couple of bad losses here and there will come back to bite us in the ass IMO.

And that win against Orlando doesn't mean anything. They were missing their stretch 4s - Lewis & Anderson - so we don't know how we stack up against them until we play their full squad.

You're right. i'm on the Cavs board rooting for my team. I guess I can just block out pointless remarks that have no affect on me or the team i root for.

Thanks man.

Sorry man, I just said Go Griz in one post then didn't bring it up again. Yes you're not posting on a Lakers board, but also, I'm not one of those fans who would be an asshole if you did come onto a Lakers board to talk bball.

I've seen non-fans post about the Lakers losing, and if they're being honest then I'll agree with them. I liked how many fans here could see when Lebron was doing too much etc etc, cuz I call out Kobe every time he fucks up (while many fans think he's perfect).

But anyways, this thread isn't about me or the Lakers at all. Just wanted to post my opinions on this cuz I'm a fan of good bball. Apologies for derailing it by posting.

Back on topic, I didn't know Lebron was being a hog all game (according to many of you), since I only saw OT. I just saw that he was doing everything so I thought it was the same story as in, suddenly everyone else forgets how to shoot (saw Mo and West miss easy shots) and saw Lebron draining everything. I thought Lebron was being clutch scoring-wise but just happened to miss the shot at the end.

Couple of thoughts:

We clearly thought this game was over at the half: just came out in the second with no sense of purpose. No idea on how to execute yadda yadda. Pretty pathetic because we come out anywhere close to our usual effort we were already up 11 so we would likely have won this going away

We missed Moon tonight. We might have seen a lot more Lebron on Randloph (he played Randolph well last year) and wouldn't have had that matchup where West had to cover the much bigger Gay.

Lebron for whatever reason went to sleep in that second half. He woke up in the OT but that was a weird second half. He had an open lane twice for heaven's sake where he could have gone in for an attempt to posterize a big man instead he pulled up lame almost.

Whole offense seemed out of whack. Normally like the Mo/lebron pick and roll but looked weird tonight.

Finally, TO's TO's TO's: just gave up so many just easy TO's that we weren't even pressured into

You guys need to shut the Fuck up and get off Imadog's back. I see everybody here raising up hell for losing to the grizzles, and it's all fine and dandy, but as soon as a Laker's fan say anything about it, everybody freaks out.

So what if he's rooting for them or saying he can't believe we lost to them, what the hell should you all care? It's some random guy over a internet forum. It doesn't mean anything what he says, and you shouldn't get mad over it.

In addition to my other post I forgot to mention that Igoudala woulda dunked half of the weak layups LeBron threw in the paint tonight. I just don't understand why he never dunks or plays that aggressive against teams other than Orlando, Boston, etc... He settled for crazy shots too much this game, as soon as the game got close he started taking the ball up court fucking up the offense...it just really didnt look like he cared.

That being said we could have and should have won despite all those things, we had plenty of chances to win this game. Poor coaching down the streach by Mike Brown, he needs to be fired. Shaq in at the end, just give the ball to LeBron, no plays at all, no movement, the usual shit.

Memphis played like champs. They knew exactly where the ball was going (as we all did) and picked it off several times. They looked and played like they wanted to win. So did some of the guys on the Cavs like Shaq, Mo, Andy, Gibson, etc. Everyone but Lebron IMO looked like they wanted this win. Mike Brown just sucks as well.
