Game 23 | Cleveland vs Portland | December 11th, 2009 | 8pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mike Brown looks and sounds emotional. He looks like he is going to break out in tears. Hopefully everything was okay in the locker room...

After reading everything, i came to a conclusion. Lebron still immature...Sad

If looks could kill there'd be a lot of dead people right now. Mike Brown is NOT happy.

I feel that same way. I feel like LeBron shows no respect towards his teammates. He doesn't show excitement or emotion towards them and only is happy when something goes his way or when he himself makes a good play. He's not the same LeBron that I have seen over the past few years.

I think you guys are reading too much into this.

Was he not patting Andy on the back of the head for finishing the plays off inside tonight? And I still saw the same old LeBron jumping up and cheering on the sidelines for his teammates when he was on the bench.

And as far as not being the same over the past few years, he has, even with moments of what seems like disrespect directed at coach. Did everyone seriously forget when LeBron nearly ran him over coming into a timeout? If you do...

Seriously, even in wins all this board tends to do is microanalyze every negative aspect of the night. I read LeBron's actions as a guy who was dead tired from logging 38 minutes tonight, listened to what Mike had to offer, and grabbed his seat on the bench. Could he have paid him more mind? Sure. But LeBron has never been the type of player who is going to hug his coach after a brief word of encouragement--at least not at game 23 of the regular season.

There's no reason to believe LeBron ignoring coach or having a spat with Moon means "he's a goner" or even a "jerk." He's a competitor and has always been very confrontational with his teammates. He's told coach to take Sasha out of the game after mental errors. His behavior hasn't changed much. At the end of the day, he'll still be there to pick up those teammates when they're down and cheer for them when they do something right.

I would love to see Mo be more of the playmaker. I dont see why he cant average 8+ assists. Lebron off the ball makes the game so much better and easier for everyone.

Im sure Windy will have some commentary on this guys

LeBron definitely acknowledged Mike Brown with some nodding when MB said that...he was going straight for the Gatorade though...must have been thirsty.

But yeah...MB said "I liked your demeanor in the second half..we need that from you as a leader of this team"

I like what that commentator said after they played that WIRED convo with MB and LBJ...

"His demeanor got meaner!"

His weiner got leaner.

One thing is certain. LeBron's passion is gone. His will is absent and his team is following him. Why?

1) He knows he's leaving and is not risking his health taking needless chances like playing defense

2) He cannot integrate with Shaq emotionally. The 2 are not close.

He does not emote on the court except to whine about calls. There is no fire.

As a result, there is no fire from his teammates. It is puzzling and irritating. But most of all, it is unacceptable. This team is sleepwalking and there IS a reason.

:chuckles:

Stop it, cow. Just stop it with this crap.

Mike Brown to LeBron: "That's what we need from you the whole game every night"

LeBron walks past him without saying a word. Something's really wrong. LeBron isn't even pretending to respect the coach anymore.

I believe he's a goner. Either that or a real jerk.

Great game AV and Mo sucked it up. Kudos to the team D.

Moo

Maybe Shaq's free throws are better when he is half blind.

This post only lacks an Eric Mangini connection to make it complete in its fumbling paranoiac stupidity.

Can someone pls tell the name of the song that was playing at the stadium (in the background) at approx 8 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter? It sounded like usher or akon ... the lyrics went like "if you get me, let me hear you say ...". It will be greatly appreciated.

I rewound the game to the point in question:

MB said that to LeBron long before that 5pt fiasco at the end... Bron was walking past MB, MB grabbed LeBron (Bron stayed) and he said "I liked your demeanor in the second half..we need that from you as a leader of this team"

The part where Bron nodded and walked away was when he was going by to inbound the ball after the play with Moon that gave up another 2pts... he acknowledged MB and got back to his job!

I feel that same way. I feel like LeBron shows no respect towards his teammates. He doesn't show excitement or emotion towards them and only is happy when something goes his way or when he himself makes a good play. He's not the same LeBron that I have seen over the past few years.

I haven't seen this at all, and it reminds me of the hyperconcerned sportswriter mentality that sees LeBron's each and every gesture and utterance, regardless of context, as a sign of his desire to re-sign after the season.

PDcavsinsider Shaq taken to hospital w/ eye injury out of precaution. Still expects to travel to OKC tomorrow.
