Game 3 | Cavs @ Hornets Nov. 1st, 8:00PM (ET)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
1. Trade Wally NOW, any okay player who can do good.......I know Wally did well tonight but we need someone else
2. Mike Brown grow some balls, stand up to LeBron, bench the KID
3. LeBron can still average 38 mpg but doesn't mean he has to play exactly 38 each game...play him over 40 in hard ones under 35 in the blowouts........
4. Delonte 3-3 on 3s......where did his shots go??? Should have gotten atleast 5-7 more.
5. Mo Will might be new but he's taking all jumpers....drive, get fouled, get the other team in trouble Mo, c'mon
6. LeBron, FERRY GOT MO SO YOU WOULDN'T BE PLAYING PG MOST OF THE TIME.....SO STOP IT.
7. Give LeBron every practice off, devote those hours to him shooting free throws and jumpers all over the floor

A lot of people blaming lebrons poor Decision making, (was very poor) But i think it had more to do with our D on the pick and Pop, they did it to us so many times and not once did we change the way we defend it, every time double the ball..... got to change it up Don't double the ball just switch off the pick, or double and have a base player come up to west(or who ever pops) and have another player on the weak side coming up and guarding the split line. Was very disappointed that a defensive minded coach in MB didn't address this and change the predictable way we guarded the pick and pop.

LOL at number 7, but seriously though. He is getting worse every year from the line and his jumper looks worse now IMO too.

if we are 2-2 after this road trip i will be running naked through the streets because thats realistically all you could hope for from the first 4 games. we're gonna be 11-6 through november, WE ARE FINNNNEEEE

i think lebrons jumper is off because he keeps on gettng bigger and bigger making his jumper more awkward. I think he should lose 5-10 lbs

I totally agree with this one. His jumper and freethrows needs major work. People really needs to start criticizing this guy because it seems like he gets away with so many things (people praise him too much). I can't stress it enough how much he has to get his ass in a gym and shoot until his arms fall off. Its unbelievable that you have been in the league for 5 yrs and u still can't shoot

Me and my dad were talking about this the other day. I really think this could be a possibility.

I believe his FT % has gone down every year since he was a freshman in high school up to last season. What could the reasons be for this? Lack of practice or loss touch (adding muscle). What else could there be?

It's 3 games, but when it's the same old stuff that's been killing us for 3 years, why shouldn't we be concerned?

Is Lebron saving his FT making for the playoffs? His jump shot too? Is Mike Brown waiting to unleash his ability to effectively game plan for a later date? Why did it seem like New Orleans could get any shot they wanted in the final minutes, but we were jacking up contested jumpers left and right when we weren't turning the ball over?

When the same fundamental things consistently break down, concern is warranted.

I would agree if coach had any semblance of continuity on this team, but he hasn't. He was able to win with LBJ and continuity in his first 2 seasons, and that was when the talent was sorely lacking.

Now, he's finally getting some talent around LeBron, but the continuity was destroyed in the process. The team is at the other end of the spectrum, and winning (and losing) based on increased talent and a lack of continuity. When the continuity finally catches back up to the talent (around mid December, to harbor a guess), this team will be a beast and damn near impossible to defend.

His ass is in the gym shooting jumpers and free throws for hours every day...before practice, after practice, on off days. It is well documented in both the media and in this forum, by people in the know, that these are his biggest weaknesses and he spends countless hours trying to fix it.

I will agree that it does not appear to be working, so something may need to change...but don't call him out on his dedication to try to get better. He works harder than any of us who spend hours upon hours reading and writing about his every move.

At least Rimage had nice graphics... :(

Keys of the Game:

- Make Chris Paul a scorer rather than a playmaker. Mo and Boobie have their work cut out for them.
- Tyson Chander might not play. That makes them weak defensively in the paint. Make West and Armstrong work on the defensive end.
- Let Lebron be a facilitator and not force him into a scoring role.
- Don't leave Peja open if you can help it. Have Wally shut him down.
- DO NOT ANGER DEVIN....we all know what kind of damage he can do on the offensive end! Oh wait, he doesn't play for us...nevermind.

One thing i would say is that Big Ben should have played more. He was playing well defesively, he was on his way to another big rebounding night with 8 in 20 minutes. I think we should have played him down the stretch when things started getting a little out of hand.......

A word about the refs since they've popped up quite a bit. We can look at some calls and how they changed momentum, but realize that's going to happen every game. It's up to the Cavs to have enough willpower or a lead to take these calls out of the equation all together. Besides, if the Cavs did get the win tonight don't you think Hornet fans would turn straight to the refs for blame too? (I didn't watch the full game, but I'm sure a few calls could've gone either way). I would be up in arms though if this was say the Kings vs Lakers playoff series kind of playcalling, which it wasn't by a long shot.

I also believe that home court advantage should be having your fans cheer you on and crowd noise. Refs giving favorable calls to the home team is bull cookies, but sadly it's what's expected now. Like I said before, expect nothing from the refs, but be ready to accept everything. That's me harping a bit but remember we are a no excuse team, let's get that win in Dallas.

Mo was nonexistant tonight..Z was soft defensively, nothing off the bench not named Boobie.

Just a blah game we could have/should have taken care of.

Well maybe its time to get a shooting coach? I think i can even help LeBron a lil with his shooting. First of all, he looks down before he shoots (no good shooter does this) and he should work on his release point on his freethrows and jumpers, and he changes his freethrow routine every 2 days. Also, he doesn't look at the rim for a few seconds before shooting his freethrows. These are fundamental things about shooting that he should know by now.

LeBron since hes been in the league has spaced his elbows out more and more.. some one needs to tell him its just bad mechanics. Seriously.. go out and shoot a jumper with your elbows out as far as possible... your not going to make the shot.

But anyway.. its the third game of the season we have plenty of time to fix things.. if this was game 81 .. I would be worried but its not so just relax we'll go on a run sometime soon and fix our record.

I agree...someone who is not afraid to be honest with him. What he's doing right now is just not translating into his games.
