Game 34 | Cavaliers vs Bobcats Jan 7th, 7:00PM (ET)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Good ..the Cavs jumped on them early and never let up..thats what they need to do to..that Boston team..hey how's it feel to get hammered again Beantown???

As far as those unis go..eh..like the gold better..I don't like the blue and bright yellow for the Cavs..

Was nice to have a throwback blowout before the now supposedly Big 4 come in on Friday. Thank you Charlotte. I also think Lebron is extra motivated every time that he gets the opportunity to play against Larry Brown, who is probably the only coach in his career that did not give him the opportunity to start.

The uniforms played tricks with my mind for about the first 20 minutes watching the game. It looked like neither team had colors matching the home floor, and the Cavs didn't have matching warm-ups, which made the blue just look out of place. Then they were wearing them at home, which was also a bit screwy, as the Bobbers are normally blue. But if they win by 30 every time they wear these things, then I cant complain.

I believe that flush was the first dunk of Boobie's NBA career. He mighta had one in on the rookie-soph games but I wont count that. I'm not sure if theres any way of checking this. I've actually been looking forward to seeing one of those since Gibson's rookie season when BW mentioned the guy throws some down in practice.

Was nice to see Hickson get some good minutes out there, he still gets the hell blocked out of his shots a ton for being a guy of his height and his jumping ability, but in two years, with 2 more years of muscle and experience on him, hes going to be nasty. What he'll need is some defensive motivation if he doesn't want to peak as a "potential guy that Isiah Thomas would sign for the MLE." Theres no one better to have on the same team as him than Ben Wallace.

What the hell happened at the end of the first half there? J. Howard got tossed while on the bench, which I've never seen. Lebron got a tech for tossing a no look bounce pass at the ref after an offensive foul and pouting about it (which was at least plausible) and then Boobie gets a tech for the shirt tail violation, what is this Catholic elementary school?

My favorite AC moment of the night: Having no idea who Mo Williams was battling against for the ball, AC proceeded to refer to Bobcats Ryan Hollins as "the tall guy" and Sean Singletary as "the short guy" for the entire play, replay sequence, and jump ball that followed. It was something like this. "Oh I thought Mo was going to have to jump against the tall guy but what is this? He gets to jump against the short guy, now Mo Williams has a chance at this jump ball." For those interested, both players missed the jump, the ball got sorta tapped out of bounds after peaking resulting in a Cavs possession, which was immediately turned over for a short guy layup. Freddie actually filled in at that point to tell everyone their names.

You know, that's why I thought they had producers for these shows that could speak in the announcer's ear as needed.

You'd have to study the opponents pretty well to instantly recognize the likes of Hollins and Singletary.

Not true, he had a monster throwdown in a game in his rookie year I believe. Possibly against the Mavs? Anyone with access to youtube out there, a little help? My employer seems to think that site leads to inefficiency.

:chuckles: Classic A.C. I love when we are on NBA TV, just because the whole country gets to be subjected to the Legend.

It was against Indiana and it was right in Al Harrington's face.
