I wish this team would play this well on the road. But truth be told we did not play that well even though all of the stats say something else. We turned the ball over a bit tonight. The only thing you can say about that is if it was a tighter game they may have been a little less careless. But other than the 6 first quarter turnovers and the lack of D in the second quarter it was a pretty impressive game.
This game was all about JJ for me. With Z out, we BADLY need some scoring from our bigs and he has the ability - just needs game experience.
If he can give us energy on the glass, and stay within the defensive system like he did tonight, that will be HUGE because Mike B. will play him and the kid can score.
someone needs to start a thread for the game friday - perhaps the biggest regular season game in the lebron era - a win puts us 1 1/2 games in first place in the east, a loss drops us down to second and gets us in tiebreaker trouble.
We should have won opening night and I've been waiting for this game ever since. I don't just want a win, I want to stomp the celtics while they are down. The most Boston has lost by in the regular season in the KG era is 18, so I want to win by 19+. Note that 18 wasn't their worst lose when playoffs are considered - we beat them by 24 in game 3 last year.
