Game 4 | Cavaliers @ Mavericks Nov. 3rd, 8:30PM (ET)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Pav should get 0 mins. Give those spares to Kinsey, PLEASE.

This FU*King SUCKS! I can't believe I missed the whole fourth quarter.

Can someone please break down the 4th quarter for me in DETAIL! Defensively and offensively. From the boxscore it seems like Mo willams did good.

Mo hit three shots near the arc in a row. Then he got a 3 pointer a little later and another long 2. This gave him 14 points total. LeBron did well to get to the stripe and we played good D.

But the last couple minutes was the end of the bench playing to prove their worth for minutes.

I came here just to see the reaction to Mo going NUTS at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

That was beautiful to watch.

That was a big time beat down. We don't need time to mesh as much as we need a consistent hard effort for 4 quarters. This looked like last year's Celtics with the bench going crazy and pushing the players on the court to buckle down on D.

You can tell that Mo is ready to win. Great to see him get his J on track.

Wallace 13 boards in 21 minutes? Rumors of his demise appear to have been greatly exaggerated.

Start drawing up the papers for AV's extension. He is playing out of his mind so far this season. His D on Dirk tonight was great to watch. Constantly in Dirk's jersey and not giving him space to operate.

Hell, even Wally blew up and dunked on Dallas. When he is +20, you know somebody just got rolled.

Better focus and decision making from Lebron. Somebody must have got on these guys after that sad showing in NO. They looked like a much different team.

Time for Camakazee's neat-o stats of the night:
(sponsored by ?)

- This marks only the 17th time in LeBron's career in which he logged 29 or more points, but 3 or less assists (The Cavs record in those games is 10-7).

- However, this is only the sixth time in his career that LeBron has notched 29 or more points in 34 or less minutes (once again the bench helping to keep LeBron's minutes down, Mo in particular).

- The Cavs opened the fourth quarter on a 13-0 run. Those 13 points were gained in the first six possessions, ALL through Mo Williams. They included back-to-back Williams jumpers, an assist to Wally, another jumper, an assist to Z, and a long 3.

Great job to salvage the third and rip the game open in the fourth.

Things I saw and loved:

1. Mo was clutch, hitting lots of shots late in the game.

2. Defense, except for a run in the third, we had fantastic D, especially against Nowitski.

3. Rebounding... wow.

4. JJ- nice move in the post for the score. He goes out there knowing people are watching and he's doing his best to get minutes and become an impact player for this team. Sasha kinda just watched, as did Wright. But Kinsey tried, while JJ was trying hard.

5. Bench love. These guys were rooting for each other like I haven't seen before. Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention, but the guys watching the game let the players know when they liked what they saw.

Something that we sorely lacked last year. I noticed that most playoff teams, especially the Celtics, had very animated benches.

Nice to see LBJ hit those free throws and Mo get going.

It's great having perimeter guys other than LBJ that can score and pass now. 49 points and 13 assists from those guys tonight.

This team will be crazy by midseason..

LOL, you have to give me more than that.

No screw that, watch the game next time!

They missed their shots, took them over 3 minutes to score a bucket, refs called some travels on them, Varejao got his 4th steal out of the timeout they called after Mo scored 2 baskets, which led to Wally's bucket and a minute later they had to call another timeout since they couldn't handle the Mo Show :)

Do you want me to draw some pictures for you as well :O?

I wasn't planning on giving you a run-down of the 4th, I was just telling you about Mo in regards to the last part of your post

29pts in 34 minutes is more like the Lebron we know and love. I didn't even think he played at his normal level but he was very efficient tonight.

I agree with redscoon, Varejao has to be resigned. He is a great fit for this team and with LBJ.

Mo taking over was a great sign and Delonte has just been killing it!

Road wins are tough to come by, so this is a HUGE confidence booster in that we took on a consistent playoff team in their house. Bask in it Cavs and know that we can beat anybody anywhere, and decisively too. Get ready for the Bulls now.

Checked out the play by play.

Andy and Ben did a great job on Dirk. Man if Ben can play like this in the playoffs we'll be great. Only one thing is worrying me, Boston, NO, and Dallas and teams in the preseason are being able to get ALOT OF POINTS in the paint on us. Teams like Lakers (with Gasol and Bynum) will destroy us because they are talented big men who can score in the paint.

Lebron struggled shooting the ball and we still won by 19. That is very good sign. Hopefully Lebron gets into a good rhythm. He did a great job on his FT's though.

We didn't turn the ball over much at all. Delonte did a great job. I would still love to have him with the second unit though. However, unless we get a better 2 guard he should continue to start. I dont think Pavlovic or Wally would knock down shots the way he is doing and hustle the way he does. They also wouldn't be able to create for others the way he does.
