Game # 41: Cavaliers @ Golden State: Friday, January 23rd, 2009

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I guess dawg :dunno:...I call gamewinning jumpers walkoffs, but thats just me tho....Just like MJ's jumper vs Utah in 98'.

Yeah, I think it's just different semantics. I just thought you might be remembering 2 games that somehow I forgot. Much obliged for the clips.

Lets keep the discussion on the game, guys...

On another subject,

Way to go young role players (Hickson, Kinsey) for stepping up on the road!!! Gibson/Wally shot fine. Sasha with 9 boards (WFT) and 8 points.

Mo and LeBron and AV shoot 19/51 on the road, and the team wins without Z and West?

Not what I expected.

TK shocked me tonight he played pretty good and so did JJ minus getting blocked by the rim.:chuckles:

I still blame Austin for jinxing LeBron out of his triple double, oh, that and Mo missing every open jumper.

Seriously though, somebody needs to sit Andy down and tell him that just because he is starting now doesn't mean he somehow started channeling the spirit of Dr. J

And to quit being so soft. He is getting pushed around quite a bit.

Imagine what this board would be like if lebron missed that shot...the thing would have exploded.

Good to see LeBron get to revel in the glory:

"It's a great feeling, especially when you get it like that and then you hear the horn and the shot goes in and there's no way they can try to make a comeback at us," James said. "I wish everyone could get that type of feeling. It's unbelievable."

"It felt good when I released it," James said. "I had great balance, I knew I was going to have to fade a little to get it over Turiaf."

That's what I thought while it was in the air. Then when it went in I thought, I love him so much.

It was one of those "NO NO NO NO..(PAUSE)...YES" type of moments...

I saw the buzzer beater coming. As soon as Sasha failed that first inbounds, and I saw Mo tossing it in. I knew exactly what was going to happen. He got it off, you just had to know it was going in. I felt at one with the world watching that ball leave his hands. It was complete slow motion. I just have this feeling I'm going to have a deja vu moment in the playoffs with LBJ doing the same thing over Paul Pierce. You know you feel it coming. Will you be a witness?

In his game blog Brian Windhorst said that LBJ told Stephen Jackson that payback is a bitch after he made the game winner.HAHA!
