Game Notes:

  • Try to limit D.Williams from penetrating into the middle of the lane.
  • Close out on their shooters, they have a few guys who are pretty good 3 point shooters.
  • Come out with high energy from the start, we are gonna be playing the 2nd game of a back to back. So we gotta make sure we keep our intensity up.

Ohhhhhh the life of an NBA player. :licker:

Will the Cavs be satisfied with 2 wins on the trip, or will they push for more?

Will Ben Wallace take the first shot once again?

Will Kinsey get some playing time?

Will Mo shoot like the GSW first half or second half?

Will LeBron finish this one in the same way as he did tonight?

Can't wait!

Good Thread Mate :)

It will be interesting to see how we bounce back after GS. It was a tough, fast paced game that may have taken alot out of us.

Can Tarence bring it again??

Can JJ continue his steady rise against a pretty good inside team??

Can anyone guard Deron??

Will Ben Wallace take the first shot once again?

Seriously, what is with this? Are we "getting him involved in the offense?" Please. He isn't stupid. He knows that is the one time he is touching the ball. I don't get why every year we start out doing the same thing every game. It makes no sense, but is kinda cool in a way?

Will Kinsey get some playing time?

If Walter plays terrible defense again, he just might.

Can anyone guard Deron??

No. Delonte would really help in this game. I'd say maybe try LeBron on him at times. LeBron's defense has been getting worse since he has been playing more minutes. I don't know if anyone else is really noticing that.

I am looking forward to watching Millsap. He is what I think JJ could turn in to. Utah on the road always seems to be a good game. Hopefully we got some energy left in the tank.

EDIT: No Boozer AGAIN vs the Cavs. I hope nobody gives his injury prone ass big money. Miami seems to be his destination though. That will make Miami really good again, until he gets hurt of course.

Great looking preview DJG as usual. I feel bad for the girl being bent over by a young Ivan Drago there, yeesh.

I'm looking at some intangibles for this game. Back to back against a Jazz team that can either turn it on or sleepwalk through a game (I'm hoping for the latter). My hope was the Warriors game was NOT going to be a shootout that it turned out to be, so our guys will be a little tired going into this one. But hey, we were on a back to back when we spanked the Hornets not too long ago right.

I'm optimistic, but still approaching this one with caution, 70/30 in favor of the good guys.

Don't see us winning this game with the big minutes the starters played last night. It's tough to come back and win after a mentally and physically draining like that.

I think if we beat Utah it's going to be in a very, very close game.

this would be a tough game considering its a back to back where out starters played loads of mins....but i expect us to come with the W on there mind after lebron hit the game winning shot:king:

Defense and COMPOSURE

i wish mo can be impressive tonight and not sloppy again

I have a feeling this is gonna be a grind it out kinda game til the end. Brewer and Milsap are dicks straight up. They always seem to torch us. Well Brewer not so much but Milsap is a sap.

The reason they went to Ben early against GS was that Keleena Azabuike was guarding him, and it was "mismatch" of sorts because of the height difference. Unfortunately, they got it to ben about 10 feet too far from the rim to do something good with the ball one on one

Let's see.

Mo needs to rebound from his early woes.

We need to have someone other than Ben take the first shot.

We should let JJ and TK get bigger burns, as well as keep Sasha in there plenty.

Andy needs to quit ****in up.

LBJ needs to step up more...

I think we win this but it will be tough

Very nice preview Da_James_Gang. Nicely done

Utah's owner had both of his legs amputated this week due to diabetes: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3856179

I'm assuming the Jazz players will be even more motivated than usual to get a win tonight. With the Cavs having played a fast-paced and last-second game last night, I hope they come out ready to play from start to finish. This will be a very tough one to win.

Great looking game thread, DJG. Mike Brown is a stone-cold fox in that picture ;)

its not that...they do this every single game, just watch tonights game and you'll see
