Game 45 | Thunder vs. Cavaliers | January 23, 2010 | 7:30 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Despite all of that, expect to hear wild Durant-to-NYC rumors if LeBron spurns the Knicks next July. Why would Durant want to stay in a podunk town like Oklahoma City on a team that's built to contend for the next decade when he could be the King of New York City!?!?

Or even better, what if LeBron and Kevin Durant get tired of their "podunk", small market teams, and go to the Knicks together. Surely, having two superstars and absolutely no role palyers is exactly the situation that those two would want to walk into, right? LOL.

Gibson was awful on defense for 3 and 1/2 quarters. His offense was fairly weak as well.

Glad he showed up offensively and defensively when it mattered. Big Shot, Cavs needed it.

Shaq was fantastic tonight.

The OKC is a tough team. Durant has joined Wade, Kobe, and LBJ as the best 4 players in this league today. I hope OKC is watching down there. They have a very special team.

Going to be a contender for years to come.

Alright... I think we need to remember that Boobie is actually clutch, right? Good.

Shaq is some of the best medicine for Mo's absence, but then he needs to get through this time without as much problems. I expect Z to be able to step up sooner or later and get hot again, but until then, Shaq's post play can hold down the fort.

For the rest of the team... I'm very worried about them. No point guard play makes this team very predictable to a level not seen since pre-2008. I guess Mo and Delonte's point play really was the reason for the offense, and not Kuester...

If we survive, good, but if not, I think Ferry can benefit from that deadline trade.

I'm really curious as to what's up with Z lately. I mean, I love the big fella and all, but damn, he has been awful lately.

It makes me wonder if he knows something is up. Maybe he has caught wind of something (or maybe he is just tired of hearing that he is gone come February 18th). I know I'd get a little down if I was in his position. Poor guy...

Danny Green had a very nice game tonight. He had a tough assignment on Durant.

But overall showed nice poise for a rookie.
He rushed one of his 3's but other than that he had two nice dishes to Hickson for a jam and end of shot clock pass to AV for 2. The 3 ball followed by the charge was a very nice sequence as well.

Z just not a good matchup tonight. Only LBJ knows how to truely run pick n pop with him. Z missed Mo and Delonte tonight.

Z played Gasol tough in the LA Game. Z is needed. Don't think otherwise.

Very true.

They're going to have cap space, and I would LOVE to see them land David Lee. There's already been talk of that, and Lee is from that area.

They would be an outstanding team if that went down, and will be neck and neck with Portland for West supremacy as LA starts to decline.

Believe me, I'm not doubting him. I'd be one of the first to truly be hurt/upset if he gets traded and not bought out. But his shot has been horrendous lately, and he just doesn't seem to have that pizazz that he has had for most of the season. That's why I hate him coming off of the bench. He needs to get involved at the very start of the game in order to get his rhythm and confidence going.

His shot has looked lackluster at best for quite some time now, IMHO. He has had some nice spurts, but he just doesn't look like he is all there most of the time (at least mentally). Maybe I'm just seeing things...

Gibson only rough quarter defensively was the 2nd quarter where Westbrook started really attacking him. Other than that he was solid and make some big defensive plays in the 4th.

Crunchy Black had two defensive stops in his first ever NBA action.

you obviously didn't watch the 3rd quarter.

I'll give you Westbrook didn't attack him in the 1st quarter.

OKC poured in 22 with 4:37 left to go when Gibson left with his 4th foul. He was a big reason why they poured in 22.

I'll give him credit though, he came up big when it mattered. 11 pts and solid defense in the final minutes. Hopefully it carries over if West and Moon can't go in Miami. I would love nothing more than to see Gibson shut down the CAV owner Rafer Alston.

I focused on him the entire game, defensively. I saw that Westbrook lit up James in the 3rd quarter. Gibson was on Sefolosha who made a whopping one basket on him.

I was at the game and focusing on the same thing.

Gibson was switched off a couple times and ended up on Westbrook on drives that ended with layups for Krstic in the paint. Westbrook also took Gibson off the dribble for a basket.
I also think one sequence ended up with Durant getting Gibson on a switch that he buried a jumper in the paint over him.

BTW, Thebo had a 3 and a layup on Gibson in the 3rd quarter.

Yet again, I can't. FUCK YOU, Time Warner, and FUCK YOU FSN Ohio for supporting the NHL. Who the hell wants to watch hockey when you have "The King" and his "Merrymen" playing like royalty?!

I swear to....I'm moving to Cleveland in 2 more years after I get out of the Army. /endrant

Fuckin' Blue Jackets hockey. You've got to be shitting me...
