Cavs gave effort to start. Blew these scrubs out, then stopped caring, and now it's crunch time, well try for 5 more minutes, get the win, and on to the next one. Welxome to the regular season . We have a championship to defend. Nothing matters until the playoffs.
But one thing to look at:Shumpert looks better right now than he did at any point the entire last year. Good Shump adds a dimension to this team that seriously makes us a lot better. Good Shump in the playoffs will make us so good defensively because the entire team TRIES.
Cavs just look fucking great early this year. If we avoid injury I think we repeat easily .

The Celtics will be the brand pushed by NBA marketing this year. "Trying to do this without Crowder, Olynyk and Horford", "Looks like Danny Ainge has found another gem". They'll become the Clippers of the East soon.

Really love the fact that LeBron is specifically looking for Love late in the game to get buckets. This will help him build the confidence.
It's not that we stopped caring, it's that we are gassed because this team has no depth. If we go 82 games exhausting our starters all the time and having to fight to win in the last five minutes we are going to be drained by the playoffs. We need to actually play some of the bottom third of the team and develop some young guys with energy.
And that's assuming we have no injuries.

Crazy that Lebron has only five FTA after attacking the basket every time down the court. The Cavs really need to start some kind of campaign to draw attention to how little respect he gets from the refs.
