Game #5 -|- Cavaliers vs. Celtics -|- November 3rd, 2016 @ 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Frye/RJ/Dunleavy/Shump are all legit NBA players.

We're nine deep. either bFelder will develop.or we will.find a solution at backup poi t. Calling us 6 deep is reactionary nonsense. We got outscored with LBJ resting against a very deep.boston team frantically trying to get back in the game..we have enough depth barring major injury.

I didn't say we were six deep, I said we had six roster slots filled with players we wouldn't or couldn't use (counting Mo as a roster slot, plus we have not been playing Felder/McRae/Liggins/Anderson/Jones basically at all). We are 'nine deep', in the sense that we have nine guys we are willing to play. That is not enough for an NBA regular season, especially since five of those nine guys are over 30 and two are over 35.

It's hardly a reason to panic since our starters are playing great, but it's a cause for concern because this is the kind of stuff that can bite you in the ass.

Damn LeBron saves his top 10 moment for the next game.
Didn't want to give Boston the honour lol

Please put LeBron in and let him get 2 free throws. I'm not confident he would make them, but still. It's just pure trolling taking him out when he is 1 point short from the 10th spot.

Well said!

I would add Birdman too in spot minutes. We have plenty of depth, and we will easily figure out the backup PG thing by the trade deadline.

Did they mention Love's stats? Tired of them forgetting him.

This team is playing fairly lazy right now...yet they're 5-0 and dropping 120+ points in back-to-back games.

Curious to see what it looks like when they click into gear in the spring...

Well, we let them back in the game. As expected unfortunately. But another win so I'll take it. Tristan was a beast. Love stayed aggressive through shooting struggles. Kyrie was lights out in the first half. And LeBron had probably his best game of the season.

Nice appetizer for the main event tonight. OKC vs GS. Go Westbrook!

Jaylen Brown is a legit player. I think he'll be an all-star wing in a few years when guys like Melo and Millsap kind of start to fade away.

EDIT: As I type this, he misses an uncontested layup.
Nah. He feasted because nobody bothered guarding him.

I think he's got pretty good potential. One of the better trio of wings we've had come into the league in a while between him, Simmons, and Ingram.

Not going to lie, a bit ticked off that wasn't a blowout from the start. This team was rolling in the fist half, TT was a double-double monster, the offense and defense was clicking, everything looked good until they let their foot off the gas. It became a 5 point game at some point and while I never doubted the victory and I was trying to see LBJ break the top 10 in the league, its still frustrating.

Not much you can take away from game 5 of the season, a bit annoyed every other commercial break was reminded us of the GS Pussies, but hey...what can you do?

What I love about the cavs is that they are not distracted by any talk or drama.

They just seem to be playing basketball and really focused.

I'm really impressed with them this season, their humility is incredible if you ask me
