Game 56| Cavs @ Rockets| Feb. 26, 2009| 8:00PM [ET]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
But we beat Houston earlier in the season!?

Mo brought it pretty much the whole game
NBA Basketball with the shitty refery dame.
LeBron tried but got in foul trouble and got jumper happy, until he got cold
Like W&G told, Mike Browns rotations started to unfold
Bens fibula is broke now were wine with no gold

Houston Rockets are a very good Team. Unlike Las Vegas I didn't have Cavs as the favorites and knew it would be tough.

Bad game overall and Mo was the only player to show up.

If Ben's injury is serious(i hope it's not:pray:) i think Mike Brown should think about playing Lebron at PF and starting Sasha when he comes back or Kinsey. I really dont like the idea of having to play Lebron at the PF spot due to foul trouble, etc but with the lack of depth in the frontcourt, to go into a game and know you have at least 1 solid big off the bench in case the starters are in fould trouble is better than having to rely on rookies and old vets. I like JJ as much as the other guy but he still is a 20 year old rookie who only played 1 year of college basketball, it's going to take sometime for him to understand the NBA game.

Here's the Ben Wallace question:

Is it a displaced fracture or non displaced fracture? Damn reporters failed to mention this small detail. If it is displaced, it is a much longer heal (plus needs to be set). If non displaced, it is more like a stress fracture, which would be 4-6 weeks, but definitely no surgery.

You may not like the Cow act, Rimage...but if I were reporting the injury from the sidelines, I'd get that info. It would read off the X ray.

They really abused us. I think size was the main issue. He should have played kinsey earlier. He is not a finesse player. He takes it t the hoop and he and JJ are the only ones who can do that besides lebron. I think we were mugged a couple times, but man our % was absolute garbage. We got rattled.

I am starting to worry that we are not going to be better in the playoffs. We were better in the playoffs previously because we pulled out really tough games sometimes and we were used to it. We are not used to big comebacks anymore.

I'm so mother freaking sick of this team not being able to score in the paint I am about to kill someone. It seems like EVERY SINGLE GAME when they show points in the paint, it is cavs 10 opponent 40. We shoot so many freaking jumpers. I understand why we wanted to stand pat, but Ferry really blew it last Thursday. If we don't get someone like Joe Smith, we HAVE to give JJ solid minutes. I know you guys think he is young and all, he is, but think of it this way:

IMO, we either A.) give him minutes and try and develop him into some sort of post scorer before playoff time or B.) don't. If we go B, I don't know if we will have a chance to win unless we have home-court throughout the playoffs. With A, it is a gamble but in the end I would feel more better about no home court IF we had somebody not named Lebron who could score in the paint, cause he can't always score in the paint, and there are multiple reasons why Lebron can't always score in the paint.

Don't blame the refs cause the only way to get past the refs is keep attacking. Lebron settled for those jumpers, but whatever, I am tired and frustrated right now.

You can't blame the refs however if you are assesed 2 charging fouls (one when the defender was in the restricted area) and get mugged on the way to the hoop and don't get called you want to keep attacking?

If Lebron kept attacking he would have fouled out of the game by the 3rd period. It was obvious that there was an agenda on some of the calls.

That being said we didn't do much of anything and we really need 2 bigs at least. Z should be relegated to the bench as he is slow and let Yao blow right past him.

According to W&G non-displaced...

Here's the Ben Wallace question:

They played great D, and we couldn't shoot straight.

The Celtics lost to the Clippers.

Your point is....errr....you're worried about one bad game?

Now we have to pick up a big. Horry? I bet....

Moo

Yeah tough road games have been our achilles heel this year

Yeah, we are nearly unbeatable unless facing good teams in their arenas... maybe it's less of an Achille's heal and more of the fact that we are losing the games you'd expect us to lose. Am I happy we're losing them, hell no. But I'd rather lose to the Rockets in their house than anyone in our house or a worse team on the road.

Either way it doesn't bode well for us to lose to good teams on the road. Houston has been hot, but if we could've found a good matchup/strategy with Yao and we actually hit our shots, we might've put their fire out. But, we certainly didn't and it was a rough loss.

When you fall off the horse, you get back on.

GO CAVS!!! BEAT THE SPURS!!!
