Game #6 Pistons @ Cavs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well since dipshit opened his mouth look for him to go 2-12 from the field and start clutching his ankle. We need to go in there with a kill all mentality..no ****ing 3's that we have no chance of hitting we need to go in there and get them in foul trouble..

That's tough considering the Cavs were in prime position to close out the mighty pisstons..

Now the odds of the Cavs winning the series are slim and none....

Will Larry be back?

Flip and Jones really struggled.

you cant hold back any punches. its really too bad they decided before the game that hughes wasnt going to play, becuase the cavs definatly could have used him in say, hitting layups or even just rebouding the ball.

Well it was fun while it lasted. No way will we take the game in detrot. We were lucky to steal one. oh well. Good season, lots to look forward to next year.

LeBron needs to remove three point shots from his offensive arsenal..

Naysayer..:gtfo: :thumbdown

winning in detroit in game 7
or
winning in cleveland in game 6?

ill take the second one.

The Pistons controlled the lead like we did in the previous game. We were playing from behind. They made the big shots, and we lost composure at the end.

It was not the refs. No pushes in the back. Z doubled Sheed, forced a miss, but LeBron was late getting there. Flip hot dogged a rebound and lost it. Gotta grab it with 2 hands.

We left a T.O. on the board. LeBron didn't shoot the three.

We didn't expect to get this far, so I am not upset. We need better players. We knew this going in. We need a reliable shooting point guard, and a power forward. We knew this.

We came close. Closer than anyone thought possible. It's a fine line between winning and losing these games. Give Pistons the credit. Sheed came up huge. Billups hit a huge shot. Prince played down low. And it took everything they had to win.

No tears.

Moo

Good summary Moo. They did the big and small things very well down the stretch, just like we had the previous games.

We have some holes but have been covering them well. Tonight our lack of production in the backcourt hurt us.

James and Flip missed some shots they normally make.

TIP #2. Keep Rasheed Wallace in check

I don't care if Charles Barkley or anyone else believes in order for the Pistons to win, Rip and Chauncey need to have the big games... I disagree... Although they are extremely important to the success of the Pistons, Rasheed Wallace is their most important player... It's no coincidence he's played poorly in 3 straight, and the Cavs won... Not to mention, Rip and Billups had big game 3's, and Rip had a huge game 4, and they still lost.. There is really only one guy who hasn't played well in their 3 losses.. (Sheed)

Sheed is the key for the Rip down screen curl, he's also key in their 3 point attack... The Billups/Sheed pick and pop is money as well...

Keep Sheed in check, and you give yourself a chance, just like the last 3 games..

TIP #3. Limit the turnovers, and get on the glass..

The Pistons love to turn their defense into offense... They thrive on getting turnovers, and getting run-outs... They love the 3 on 1 break... If the Cavs limit their turnovers, that will take away another key ingredient for the Pistons success..

Also, get on the glass.. The Pistons also thrive on 2nd chance oppurtunities.. Gooden, Marshall, Z, AV, and LBJ must be windex like glass cleaners... Keep them off the offensive glass, and the Cavs take another important aspect away from them..
Hmmmm...Cavs didn't follow TIPS 2,3

I think i'm on the brink of genius... Almost scary how I called that... :thumbdown ..

I'll use one of Rasheed's quotes..

"The Sun shines on a dog's ass sometimes"

Well he is the dog's ass but he had a good game. Props, Mike Brown obviously couldn't figure out that Varejao is too light to guard him and he got fadeaways all night long, but he made a cocky statement after the game and I pray to god that it's his undoing..

Wild game ...no need to get into calls that were made and not made ...we lost because we didn't take care of the basketball on offense, and rebounded very poorly ...absolutely nobody blocked out inside the last six minutes of the game. Having Z and AV together is good in some respects because AV's quickness ...but neither block out, and didn't. Drew does, but then he still hasn't grasped after six games that you can't let 'Sheed spot up from the 3pt. line. I'm sure he's been told about 200 times, but has yet to let it sink in.

It's a game we should have won, and we still have a decent shot at getting game seven, because we've basically played this team to a draw.

Lebron got stripped five times in the 4th qtr., and you can't waste that many possesions ....we made Detroit miss, we just never took care of the boards ...you gotta box out and get the ball back....we didn't.

I honestly don't know what I would have done differently from a coaching standpoint ...we just didn't get the job done down the stretch ...offensive turnovers, and no defensive rebounding/ boxing out of their bigs ....correct those two things and we win with some to spare.

We gave the game away more than they took it fom us ....which is a tough way to go down.

They had all the breaks go their way late, and sometimes that's just how the ball bounces ....accept it and move on...get ready for game seven with a new piece to our puzzle ready to go in Larry Hughes.

AV down the stretch.... But Drew killed us in the 3rd...

He played off of Billups on a switch.... And he played off of Sheed as well..

AV was huge down the stretch and losing him the last 2 minutes really killed our rebounding.
