He's declining, he's 28 already, can't stay healthy, on a big contract. And the Pistons have no way to improve the team going forward. None.

This trade basically sinks the Pistons to do anything going forward. They're basically building around Griffin, which is dumb, he's not that kind of player.

Considering Love was was injured in Jan 30th and the first game Nance was available after the trade was Feb. 10th, what you’re suggesting would have been impossible.

He definitely should have been starting by the fourth or fifth game here though and hopefully we never turn back.
