Game 7 | Cavaliers vs Knicks | November 6, 2009 | 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Someone enlighten me. I know this game was on both ESPN and FSOHIO. Why did many in this thread put yourselves through the crap of ESPN announcers referring to 2010 and NY and James and all the crap? Is it something you had to do because you cannot get the Ohio station, or was this a choice to put yourselves through the 2010 crap you got on ESPN.

Thanks for your insights.

i only watched about 5 minutes on espn...the chris rock interview and the lebron interview at the end. espn couldn't have made it more obvious in those five minutes at where they were hoping lebron would land

Yeah I live in Texas so I had no choice, I should have just watched the Celtics game and turned off the Cavs game.

This thread needs to be locked. No meaningful, or insightful discussion is occuring. If you want to talk about how lebron (ahem, the guy who just lead the team to the win) is an asshole, blah blah blah, take it to the 2010 thread. we should be analyzing the game here.

If we lose to the magic...i don't even want to think about how this site is going to implode. *shutters* If this is the way we act after a win then....lord help us.

It reminds me of the previous three or four season prior to last year here on RCF. Lots of reactionary posting and people lurking on ledges threatening to jump. None of us are happy with how this team is playing right now but some people need to seriously take a deep breath. Remember this thing is an 82-game marathon before we even start the postseason. This is not the same team we will be seeing six months from now.

I havent been around here long, but that thread would be a meltdown of epic porpotions haha. But I dont think it will be as bad as most are predicting.

You're lucky you didn't watch the whole thing then. The game was sort of an afterthought for ESPN. Where LeBron is going is all that they talked about for two and a half hours.

:doh::gtfo::shakehead:huh:

I know alot of you guys don't agree with me, but I don't care. I honestly think he is a huge egotistical douche. When did any other great NBA player like Jordan, Oscar, Magic, etc praise an opposing city like LeBron does with NYC . He talks so highly of NY like he fucking plays there and is from there. How does that not piss off alot of you??

We can all be thankful that it's the only game the Cavs will play in NY this year. Unfortunately, we'll go through it again to some extent when the Cavs play in NJ.

I'm glad that it was on the schedule so early and it's over.

Hope the Cavs get a day off and then get some practice time in for Orlando.

I know if I started a thread in Cavs talk and had an explaining 12 paragraph essay of why I feel I know what the problem is would get locked, so I will just wrap it up simply in a sentence.

Cavs/LeBron are very effective in uptempo and when we try to play off Shaq in the post it never works so Shaq should be playing off LeBron instead of us forcing it in to an old Shaq so we can all watch him jack up a shot that will always be to the right no matter where the defense is.

Ya long sentence but you get my point:chuckles:

4 days should be plenty time to right this ship headed to Orlando

Actually the really sad thing is that most of this board agrees with you for right now.

So you know what actually pisses me off? It is the fact that CAVS fans are even criticzing LeBron for every little thing he does. He has gone through scrutinty his whole career and now CAVS fans are hating? That makes me wonder. You have no idea. LeBron is the most professional role model athlete in the NBA. Try to appreciate some of things he has done for Cleveland and lay off of him.

It's what he does and not what he says that matters most to me. He yaps and yaps about a lot of things (including NY) but when it comes down to it, he signed with the Cavs after his initial contract, and he'll have a chance to do it again. What he says in the meantime or how he fills his craving for attention, I don't pay much attention to it.

Just because he wants attention off the court doesn't mean we have to give it to him.

I care more about when he acts like a diva on the court or when he gets sloppy or careless and forgets his teammates. Again, it's because of what he does, not what he says after the game.

I recognize why fans get pissed off about what he says, though.
