Some relevant statistics.

Ultimately, going 23-7 against the Western Conference this season, the Cavaliers are 49-11 against the West over the past two seasons, posting a 28-2 home record over this span.

In the Spurs game Anderson Varejao posted a plus/minus of +6, which was tied for team best, before leaving in the first half due to a sore hamstring. In the six quarters and two minutes since Varejao’s departure, the Cavaliers have been outscored 153-149.

Additionally, in the two games without Varejao, who is the team’s leader in field goal percentage at 57.2%, the Cavs have failed to score 100 points, tallying 97 points each time. After 74 regular season games, the Cavaliers are only 15-14 (51.7%) in games that see them score below 100 points compared to the seemingly invincible 43-2 (95.6%) record they hold when scoring in triple figures.

In 13 games and 162 minutes played, Powe has attempted 48 free throws, more free throw attempts than either Jamario Moon or Jawad Williams despite their clear advantage in games played and minutes logged. With 3.7 free throw attempts per game, Leon Powe is third on the team in that regard, behind only LeBron James (10.1) and Shaquille O’Neal (4.3). Furthermore, with 11.3 free throw attempts per 36 minutes, Powe not only leads the Cavs in that category, but the entire league (min. 5 minutes per game).

Mo is still adjusting from becoming the 3rd option directly after coming back from a 6 week injury. His assists for this month is 6.2 per game. Don't expect Mo to be having big nights scoring consistently, those days are over. He's going to be more of a pure point or at least try to be. I expect Mo to average 14 and 7 for the rest of the year.

Here is your NumbersDon't game preview:

Game Preview – Wednesday March 31, 2010 – Milwaukee Bucks @ Cleveland Cavaliers

It didn’t take long for the Cavaliers to get back on their winning ways, as they held their 39th opponent to under 95 points on Z’s big return game to the Q. For comparison’s sake, they held 51 opponents to under 95 points last season. With 8 games remaining, the Cavaliers still have a little time to tighten up the screws defensively, as well as offensively, where a few key rotation guys have struggled lately.

The Cavaliers won on Z’s big return afternoon on Sunday, defeating the Sacramento “Queens,” as Shaq once called them, 97-90. Sacramento hung around & trailed by just 6 heading into the half, but the Cavaliers held them off by holding them to 38 2nd half points. (I won’t mention the fact that the Cavaliers only had 39 points in the 2nd half themselves). LeBron James led the Clevelanders with 34 points on 13-22 shooting, to go along with 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals, & 3 triple hits, while Antawn Jamison continues to be a terrific 2nd option, going 11-21 (2-4 from downtown) for his 26 points & 9 boards. J.J Hickson & Anthony Parker contributed 10 points apiece, J.J on 5-8 shooting with 5 rebounds, while Parker added 3 boards, 3 assists, & 3 steals.

Milwaukee is coming off of a route of the Clippers at home, 107-89. The Bucks came out of the gate on fire, taking a 15 point lead into halftime. Ersan Ilyasova came off the bench to lead 5 double digit scorers with 20 points to go along with 8 rebounds on 8-14 shooting, while Jerry Stackhouse went 7-10 for his 16 points, also off the bench. Brandon Jennings added 17 points, 5 boards, & 6 assists, while Andrew Bogut contributed 14 & 9 rebounds in just 25 minutes. Charlie Bell added 10 on 4-8 shooting in the Milwaukee win.

I think Varejao is more important to this Cavs team than alot of people realize. He is imo a key piece of the puzzle to Cleveland's success on the court. Can't wait to have him back in action.

So Shaq and Varejao are out for this game?

We will be without Redd for sure and maybe Delfino too.

Should be interesting game. Who will defend Bogut? We will see can Z still do that. Because JJ sure can't. If Shaq and AV both miss this game I expect Bucks to win this.

Good luck anyway

Neither Shaq nor AV will play in this one.

We lost to you guys by 7 with AV, but without LeBron, with Mo shooting 3-17, and with everyone not named Jamison or Delonte shooting a combined 12-41! Oh, and that one wasn't in the Q.. so I wouldn't get too cocky there..

I'd like to see the cavs come out and dominate these next 3 games and then take the rest of the season off. just put the league on notice, that hey, when we want to, we will destroy you.

probably won't happen, but gotta give myself some reason to stay engaged the next couple of weeks.

If that is true then I am sorry but Bucks win this one. Last game was close only because you had AV to slow Bogut. I don't see Z doing that. LeBron? Sure, he will score a lot but it just means less shoots for Jamison and West who are profesionall Buck killers for years.

Bring it on

LeBron will have a triple double tonight and Mo will be hitting goosies from all over the gym. Rooster boy will pay for his cocky ass gestures last game......you don't try and steal another teams invention and not do it right.....disrespectful.:chuckles:

Your logic is laughable. Has Lebron beat the Bucks solely by himself before? I will take your non-reply as the answer

It doesn't help to have people on ignore when everyone quotes them...

Thing is every time we beat the bucks NCF goes and hides until they start winning again. At least we will get him off the boards for a while after tonight.
