* LeBron James is going to sit out his third game to rest before the playoffs. Still not sure about Wednesday in Atlanta, there is a chance he could come back and play with Shaquille O'Neal. Anthony Parker will also rest for the first time this season. Jamison and Williams are back. So is Daniel Gibson, who missed three games with a foot injury. The Magic are playing to win, they still have a chance to pass the Lakers and get homecourt if there is a rematch in the Finals.
* Something to watch today that would have value in the playoffs is the Nelson/Williams match and the Jamison/Lewis match. Jamison has a strong history against Lewis dating back to when they played four times a season in the Western Conference. The Cavs how a serious disadvantage at power forward last season and now they have closed it with a player that will make Lewis work harder at both ends. As for Nelson, he's played wonderfully over the last two months. He's a challenge for Williams, who is playing well recently. Let's see who wins that one.
* Vince Carter is going to be a key matchup in a playoff season as well. Parker isn't playing today but figure for Moon and Jawad to get lots of time on Carter. The Cavs will have to make Carter work and also limit him in pick-and-rolls. Moon and Williams could be key bench players in such a series, but probably only one of them.
* I pity Frank Isola.
