Another competitive half. Team with many many flaws and deficiencies(hence having the 2nd worst record last year) but competing hard and playing mostly close halves so far 3.5 games in.

Back court definitely needs to pick it up in the second half, on both sides of the court.
Guards are not distributing the ball very well. Too many minutes for Sexton, not enough Garland. Need to keep the ball rotating, stop holding it motionless beyond the three point line.

There must be a reason why Garland on pace for reduce minutes tonight. Maybe they are trying not to put too much stress on his body since he didn't play basically all of last year. They are in a 2 week stretch of games that they will play every other night.

We should trade Sexton, Clarkson and Nance or coach B must limit these players asap. Then we can play as a team. Sharing ball with vision on offense and defense harder. Garland, KPJ, Cedi, Windler... These all should play 30 mins and take lots of roles.

How do the guards pick up their play when the offense goes through the Bigs? This whole two PG thing doesn’t make sense

Has JB used DG shooting abilities to open things up? Nope. All I’ve read about is how well DG shoots. Why the fuck isn’t his talents being used? I’m confused. If the Cavs were going to try to really compete, they should’ve moved up for a player they could really fucking use like Hunter or drafted Culver instead of another PG.
