We're down by 17 and Garland is -25.

Last night it was SExton with the big -. TOnight its Garland.



These two blow my ass.

Be honest I Think this second unit looks significantly better than the starting unit.


I like Dotson more than Garland. Oh well.

He seems to play more efficiently then him in movement and purpose but his 3P % is about 12 points lower than Garlands.

When things get this bad it’s hard to sort out thoughts about what to likely can never be cornerstones vs. what players should just be discarded entirely.

I don’t feel good right now that we have a guy who can be the 1st or 2nd best player on a top 4 team during their prime years of 25-30. But I don’t see the need to discard anyone yet.

You can delay a decision on Sextons second contract until July of 2022. Garland’s until 2023. So there is time to see who else we can draft and trade for and see how our current young guys develop and fit around additions.

I do agree that a long term starting backcourt of Sexton and Garland can not be the answer. I also agree that our 2021 draft pick should be 100% BPA regardless of position.

Now that the offense has to be something other than feeding Drummond, is Bickerstaff just drawing up sets they've never practiced before? McGee got hit in the face by a 5 foot pass he had no idea was coming.

Can’t argue with that. The only hope is that as Garland hits certain a milestones(100 games, 150 games, 250 games, etc) his on court awareness and experience leads to smarter more efficient play.

But his upside is not that of an all star. Ever. No need to get rid of him And with Dotson as the only other traditional guard behind him and Sexton, not sure what else to do other than continue to take their lumps together until their are some roster changes
