Game Thread | 2020-21 Season | Game #47 | Cavs @ Jazz | March 29, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Couldn’t play any better defense. Mitchell is a beast. He doesn’t look 6’1 either.

He shitted on Ruby.

Jazz announcers sum up Sexton as not much of a threat from beyond the arc.

This is obviously league-wide knowledge and explains how the defense
lays in wait for him to come into the lane.

Sexton is an average three-point shooter...He needs to be in rhythm to hit threes consistently. They make it sound like he can't shoot it.

It also doesn't help that Bickerstaff doesn't run plays to get him or anyone open.

The whole team need to shoot more 3s.

You're right but the JB needs to run plays to get players open to shoot more 3's. He expects a team of young players to figure it out. To me,it seems like Bickerstaff care more about the defensive side than running plays on offense...

After a stinky 18 points in the first quarter, Cavs storm back with 16 in the second . The 34 points
for the half mark a season low points allowed for the Jazz.

Gobert plays defense against Okoro like a camp counselor plays defense against a 5 year old who’s trying to learn how to play basketball.

He pretends to try a little.....maybe hold his hand up from time time to time but knows the kid has no chance of actually doing anything and will eventually just pass it to someone else.

Cavs 4 for 18 on 3's for the half.

4 of 13 on 'non-rim' 2 pointers.

Cavs light up the scoreboard shooting 12 of 41 , 27.5% for the half.

These are stats that would only look good in the peach basket era.

But 6 for 8 on FTs!

Cavs getting their ass kicked.

how the hell was that a foul when he was going for the ball? pathetic as hell.

Good defense by Wade

Lol there's the officials doing what they do. Making calls in favor of the team getting blown out. Happens all the time and they always deny it. That was as clean as clean could be.

They have to give the Cavs the ball. THey blew the whistle so the play dies right at that moment. THe ball going off of Sexton afterwards doesn't matter.

Jazz assistant coach says Cavs have a lot of like size offensive players and Jazz are playing
connected pick and roll defense backed by Golberts presence in the paint and at the rim
has just dominated Cavs.

Huh? He hit Sexton on the arm LOL.

Garland just dribbles aimlessly for 15 seconds only to pass it to a teammate in a bad position at the end of the shotclock.
